   It’s was good. Not great. The pepper and salt grinder should be able to grind larger flakes similar to other steakhouses. Otherwise steak was tasty. Sides were broccolini and fries and they were nice accompaniments

   What a vibe! We chose Animl for a special occasion and are so glad we did! The decor, lighting and music were on point, creating a luxurious and enticing environment from the moment you enter. So much character in the details! We were warmly greeted at the door and every staff member we came in contact with had a high level of professionalism and charisma. The food was excellent- our server offered recommendations upon our request and in the end, we went with: the Cesar salad, steak tartare, milk bread, a steak and potato gratin, with the gold bar for dessert. Each dish was creatively presented and had unique elements that kept us desiring the next bite. Our steak was cooked perfectly and the sharing plates were intentionally piping hot, to keep the steak to temp. Standout was the Cesar salad, which was the best rendition of it we’ve ever had! Cocktails and wine were also delicious. An 11/10 experience with the service, food and ambience and attention to detail.

   Food was amazing, well cooked and well presented. Service was attentive without being obtrusive. All in all quite spectacular. Toronto has a new steakhouse in town. Dress code was welcome and respected. Very much what fine dining should be.

   The food is honestly spectacular, and our waitress was lovely. The bartender was great too. It’s on the pricier end but you get what you pay for, I’ll be back again.

   this was a cute little spot tucked away in an alley that had a speak easy feel to it...our server Camille or Camilla was super knowledgeable, attentive and great at what she does. the apps were amazing and i could not get enough caesar salad (order it twice). the steaks were good and thanks to the kitchen staff for cooking some medium rare and some medium. i would go back

   Everything about my experience was a 10/10 from the incredible food, cocktails and superior service, not only from my server Rebecca but the entire staff were all above and beyond. Definitely my new favourite steakhouse, but i’d also come back just for the cocktails alone as they were out of this world.

    I was very impressed with this restaurant. The food and service was excellent. Sacha and the team there really want there customers to have a great experience. I look forward going back again.
