    Great dining experience to celebrate a birthday. The restaurant itself is beautiful and inviting. I ordered from the 3 course prix fixe menu and it did not disappoint. I had the red fish over mushroom risotto, the fried green tomato appetizer, and the praline bread pudding. My spouse had the grilled pork chop which was cooked perfectly and served with a savory sweet potato side . Our server was kind, friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend.

    Food was excellent. Blown away by the bananas foster pork belly. Would have never considered mixing the two flavors, but the profile works as a sweet/salty mix. We also had the seared scallops with maque choux, cold smoked porkchop and brioche bread budding. All of it delicious and we left nothing on the plates. I, also, appreciate the portion sizes in that I didn't feel overly stuffed after eating the entire dish. Ambiance was charming, lots on candle tapers and dimmed lights, but bright enough to see. Staff was friendly, professional and attentive. Overall, it was a good experience and we will return.

    Food was very good. We all ordered different items and very pleased. It was a very busy time in New Orleans, but our server was very attentive. We were pleased with our overall experience

    I’ve been coming for years, but just discovered the salmon. It is my favorite salmon dish at a restaurant ever. Now I crave it and come back for it. Everything else is wonderful too, including the drinks and the people.

    Disappointed in the food quality. The scallops were too spicy and the red fish was just ok. Like a lot of restaurants it's VERY loud when full if that's an issue with you. Service was average. Too many other good places to go in the city that are better.

    The added 24% surprise on the bill for added tip was strange? Not sure if that was on the up and up being that nothing was on the menu about it. Other than that food was good.

    We had dinner during Mardi Gras , so we expected some issues. Mostly, they were lack of communication issues. Host didn't tell the server he had our table, so it was a bit of a wait until we got water and ordered drinks. Delicious drinks. We ordered the corn chowder with crab, and it was very good. My husband had the lamb and lentles, and it was delicious. I ordered the chicken poutine. The menu listed it as chicken debris with cheese curd and fries. When it was served, it also included a lot of Bell Peppers, which I don't eat. If it had listed bell peppers on the menu, I wouldn't have ordered it. I would recommend to Chef, that they change the menu to include the bell peppers, so they don't have this issue again.The waiter was great, apologized, took it away, and I ordered the shrimp and grits after I made sure no bell peppers. It was delicious. Side note, my husband ordered a glass of wine, and it was corked. We understand this happens, and they opened a new bottle for him, and it was fine. Unasked, they only charged us for the poutine, which was less than the shrimp. They handled everything very well, and we will be back.
