    The wait for food was very long, food and service were OK. Shrimp and grits and Bloody Mary’s were very good.

    Good food & ambiance although this was marred by lackluster service apparently precipitated (per waiter) by the kitchen being very busy. Also don't appreciate the 4% "kitchen employee" surcharge which is a relatively new trend but one I find objectionable. Charges should remain as the food/drink charge & the tip. If you want to pay the kitchen staff more, then raise your menu prices rather than virtue signal with this additional 4% charge...as a result, I deduct the 4% from the tip.

    We went close to open on a Wednesday. Very quiet and a nice atmosphere for a brunch.

    Waiter was great but you could tell as a whole, they were not prepared for Valentine’s Day crowd. Seated 20 minutes after reservation time and took 10 minutes to get a water after being seated. However, food was great. Pork chop was outstanding and my wife enjoyed her salmon dish. If the service/experience was better, we wouldn’t have minded the price tag. Dinner at places such as commanders palace have cost me the same, but with much better service and experience

    Seated next to a very large table, noise was brutal and shared their server so we were not well attended. Snapper was dry… not a good experience for my out of town guests to see and was very disappointed.

    I have eaten here before and loved it but was disappointed this time. The oysters were gritty. I was anxious to have the buttersquash salad but it was a different preparation than listed on on line dinner menu and was a heavier salad with spinach. I didn’t catch the difference before ordering. The crab eggrolls were very good. Not terrible but just not what I have learned to expect from past visits

    My food was cold, but the sever covered my meal. It was still disappointing because I ordered Eggs Apolline with the 2 dollar up charge to make it an omelette. Everyone else at my table enjoyed their food tho.
