My wife and I had a fantastic experience at Aquavit. The food was incredible, the service was fantastic. Will absolutely go back again!

My daughter and I went there for their Scandinavian Holiday Luncheon. Everything was beautifully presented and service excellent. It was my daughter's birthday and they provided a comp dessert. The only drawback was that the restaurant was freezing. We changed tables, but even that didn't help much. The restaurant lent me a shawl. The bar was not very populated. Perhaps people were avoiding it because of the cold? Personnel said they plan to correct the problem, but I wouldn't go back unless I was assured it had been resolved.

The service was friendly but uneven. One of us is allergic to tomatoes. We explained this, they said no problem, and then brought out something that was covered in tomato sauce. We said”looks like tomato” they said no they had asked. We pressed them and the. The waiter came back and said yes, we were correct it did have tomato. This is actually dangerous. We asked to take some food home. They never brought it. The bill was wrong -they only charged for one instead of two main plates. We had to correct them. They were lucky we are honest. We love this place but, especially for the price, they need to step up their game.
