We have always loved this restaurant as a local, dependable and efficient restaurant. Tonight.... ugh...incredibly slow, poor service. The staff we interacted with were pulling double duty. The bartender was also our waitress. They are clearly understaffed in the dining area as well as the kitchen. We sat for almost 15 minutes after being seated to be acknowledged. The food took another 25 minutes to be delivered to the table. Not the employees fault. I have loved this restaurant for years. We are not going back.

We were disappointed in our standby French restaurant last night. I received the wrong drink, which was quickly corrected. My order of duck was really not well made, and that's why I visit Aquitaine for their duck a lorange. So, a fairly large expense for not so good a dinner. I hope this was a one off, as we like the restaurant usually.

We went for my wife’s Birthday. Ivonne was the hostess and from beginning to end, she made this a very special experience. Service was excellent. The food was delicious. The ambiance and atmosphere inside is gorgeous. 5 stars all around. Ivonne even provided a chocolate lava cake as a special birthday dessert, and she covered this additional cost. Extremely generous and thoughtful. Thank you Aquitaine. We will be back.

Our reservation was at opening. However it took several minutes after sitting before lights were turned on in the restaurant. For our meal, we each ordered French toast. We received something like bread pudding. We were not told ahead of time that what we ordered wasn’t available. I also ordered lyonnaise potatoes and received roasted potatoes. These are not the same thing - again not told it was not an option. Finally I ordered an espresso martini that was very bad. I asked for a remake and they added Bailey’s. I don’t believe it had espresso which is part of the standard recipe. All in all our experience was poor enough we won’t return.

The Sole entree is so delicious! Our server Fidel is excellent, he’s attentive, helpful and gracious. Jaime’s cocktails are outstanding!

The food was delectable and the atmosphere welcoming; however the servers are not as attentive as they should be especially to customers drinking a bottle of wine. They have an excellent wine list but the servers have difficulty opening the bottle and when they do serve it, they abandon it on the table. The empty glasses remain empty until one pours it yourself.

Our server and the ambiance were the highlight of the evening. Appetizers were good, but the entrees were mediocre. The schnitzel and risotto were plated poorly and looked unappetizing. Our steak arrived to the table late.
