This is a lovely upscale venue. The owner, Steven Fondu has taken good care in the design of space and noise level. The bar area is beautiful and the staff very accommodating and knowledgeable. My only small complaint would be that the wait staff should be trained to ask if they can remove plates while some in the party are still eating. We prefer that none should be removed until everyone has finished that course.

Our server, Megs, curated our meal so we were able to taste a variety of items on the menu. All of the dishes were delicious. We loved the appetizers of salmon crudo, filet carpaccio, bread and ziki, and risotto. The sea bream and lamb chops as entrees were tasty too. We can’t wait to return!

The chef is extremely talented and our server did an excellent job, so the mediocre service rating was intended for the staff. What rubbed us the wrong way is we were forced to book a 5p reservation when the restaurant remained empty until after 6p. I understand these are peak hours and you probably can fill with walk-ins. However, how about the customer who is forced to sit in an empty dining room? For this reason, we will most likely not be back despite dining out 3-4x’s per week.

Loved the food and the vibe music could be a little quieter hard to hear your table mates, however highly recommend would definitely go back.

Portions small and very expensive. Everything served on salad size plates. For some reason the 3 lamb chops were incredibly salty and came with no sides. The Veggie lasagna was boring in taste and basically just squash. Sofo Dessert portion was larger than any of the appetizers or entree so could be shared by 4. We all had a good laugh over that.

Ara is beautiful! Great huge bar and intimate dining room. Service was excellent. Great cocktails. Starting with the bread and dip off the starter menu. It was fantastic. Enjoyed the salmon and lamb shank dishes.the tiramisu for dessert was amazing. . Beyond delicious meal and experience.

Food was excellent but prices are really high. $100 for a steak that was about 6 oz. A Diet Coke really shouldn’t be served with a can at table in a high-priced restaurant. Sat at high tops and lighting so dark can’t even see the food you are eating. Need to change table lighting. All staff exemplary, very good service. Their chocolate chip cookie dessert was amazing!

Lovely atmosphere. Great service. The food is amazing. Beautiful cocktails. My third visit and Ara will be in our regular dining rotation. Five star experience.
