Arden was delightful! The food was clean and tidy with intriguing flavors that came together with great precision. We are such difficult people to please when it comes to food and food service but Eric and his staff went well above what we could have imagined. We will be spreading the word and will be back…soon!

Just go. This is one of my favorite restaurants in the US. The staff took care of me with food and wine suggestions. The food was absolutely amazing and one of the staff said I looked sad when I had finished. I was only sad because I knew it would be awhile before I was back. I can’t speak highly enough about Arden. Go. Enjoy. Repeat.

One of the best dining experiences in Portland. From the greeting at the door and all through dinner we were treated as friends or guests and not as a mere customer. The server knew her food and wine and was friendly and attentive throughout. And the food…a beautiful mix of tastes. Yum!

Top notch dinner at Arden to celebrate a milestone birthday. The prix fixe is the way to go, so you get to taste more of their outstanding dishes. All three of the first courses are outstanding: citrus salad with whipped goat cheese, roasted carrots with labneh, and warm "potato salad" with mustard dressing and pickled onions. The flavors and textures are great marriages, and that was true throughout our whole dinner. The spaghetti with truffle butter and shaved truffles is silky smooth and delectable. The pierogi with burrata and caviar are so interesting and really work. Our fine waiter Joshua encouraged us to mop up the creme fraiche with the pierogi and holy cow, it's fantastic! The trout literally melts in your mouth; it could not be more tender. The tahini chili butter and citrus are good compliments. The chick pea panisse were the biggest surprise of the night. They could be addictive. Super smooth and very tasty! The Basque cheesecake is another favorite. Love, love how creamy and tall it is, and much lighter than traditional cheesecake---quite different altogether. The passion fruit coulis was a marvelous pairing. The chocolate malted ice cream was also a total winner. My dinner companion had the wine pairing and loved it. Our waiter Joshua was gracious and attentive and we enjoyed him very much. We loved our table by the window. The restaurant was full, but the noise level wasn't an issue. We both agreed it was an outstanding meal, and I wish I could go back more often. Arden has earned its outstanding reputation by delivering fabulous food consistently over its tenure. So grateful it's here to stay!

Took my husband here for his birthday and we had a wonderful experience. This wasn’t our first time here, but we are always excited to come and try new menu items and enjoy the ambiance. The foie gras was the best version I’ve ever had at Arden before and I could’ve eaten my weight in that alone (gross when I say that out loud 🤣)! Thank you, Arden staff, for helping make my husband’s 43rd an incredible evening out!
