   Very nicely decorated with the flowers and the fire feature. Cool hidden door. Asked to wait at bar, but took long time for someone to wait on us at the bar, then difficulty closing out when seated for dinner. Also we got last seats at bar and many others had to stand. Took a while to be seated. Wait staff was a bit clumsy and confused. Fixed menu with only a few choices. Food tasted good, but nothing special. Asked waiter to take a picture of us at entrance, and said he would meet us but never showed up. Decent experience for Valentine’s Day but could have been better.

   Let me start with the food was fantastic. We were a party of 4 and we shared everything. We ordered the rib eye, lobster mac and cheese and an omelette. We made reservations for 2:30 and arrived a couple minutes early. Our table wasn’t ready so we we to the bar for a drink. Our bartender was very friendly and our drinks were great! We were at the bar for about 25 minutes when the hostess came and told us our table was ready. Here is where the problems begin. She took us downstairs and set us at a table that was almost on the sidewalk. This was very disappointing…. I expected to have been seated upstairs in the beautifully decorated main area. Our server came right over and took our drink order. She was extremely friendly…. As soon as she left our table another server came over to take our food order. I explained that we just sat down and needed a minute to look over the menu. He snapped back and said the kitchen closes at 3:00 and it was already 3:01. So we were left without any choice but to order immediately. Our food came and it was delicious! Then we were told the bar was closing and we needed to order anymore drinks asap. We decided it was time to just pay and leave. So here are my take aways…. We arrived on time but our table wasn’t ready. When our table was finally ready the kitchen was already closed forcing us to not have time to even read the whole menu before ordering. We did not get to experience the restaurant in its full beauty because we were sat downstairs almost on the side walk. Then we were rushed out of the restaurant because they close before dinner. So my question is…. Why was I even offered a reservation for 2:30? I really wanted to like Arden, but I am not sure I will return.

   Food wasn’t very tasty but the rest was good. Everything tasted kind of bland.

   We celebrated my best friend‘s birthday here and it was such a fun experience. The staff was very friendly, the food and the ambience was amazing!

   Overall it was great, I requested a nicer romantic spot since it’s our first time here and there’s some corner or nicer sections but the host still placed us in the middle of crowded section

   It’s is a cute restaurant, but much smaller than it appeared in pictures. It has a fun and beautiful ambiance and the speakeasy in the back is super cute. While our server was nice, we let her know when ordering my friend was allergic to onions. Her order came out with an onion sauce that was supposed to be left out so the server took it back. Then it came back out and her mashed potatoes had onions! My friend just left it at this point and didn’t eat the mashed potatoes. It was also a rainy day so the outside tables were closed. Overall, we had a good time.

   I went with my family for my sister’s birthday. It was our first time dining here. My first impression was that the exterior/interior was so pretty, the floral arrangements and lighting. It was very cold, so I thought it was great to see that they had so many heaters around. The food and cocktails were amazing, sizing portions were good. I will definitely revisit to try their brunch.
