   'Twas a few days before Christmas and so to no one's surprise, Arden Waikiki was crowded and getting a reservation was a delightful prize. Ho! Ho! Ho! The Prix Fixe menu was what we ordered and the Butternut Squash Soup, which was the starter, was to die for. It was perfect! Hubby and I both ordered the miso butterfish as our main entree. The fish was done just right, but the miso sauce was a bit thin and weak. The sides: a wild rice ball, and a parsnip mash were good, but there could have been better sides to go with the dish. The dessert, a mocha and chestnut trifle, was very good but not quite excellent. Still, it was a very nice repast. Merry Christmas, everyone!

   Wonderful food and even better service. Would definitely recommend and would keep on my Oahu list of places to eat at.

   This place is great, the food was outstanding, you must try the AHI steak. Overall, it is for sure a perfect score because of the quality of the food, however the service at the beggining was slow to start, drinks must be serve a tad quicker.

   Arden does not disappoint! The furikake fries were so good. The hamachi sashimi with lilikoi and lamb lollipops were fantastic. My favorite dishes are the roasted hirabara carrots with goat cheese and the mushroom rice. The baked Hawaii for dessert was the perfect ending.

   Stellar service from top to bottom; wait staff looked short-handed, yet they still did fantastic in making the evening special for my wife & I. Food was excellent, cocktails superb!

   We had been wanting to try Arden since they opened, but hadn't gotten around to it. On a whim I looked to see if there were any last minute reservations available, and there were. The service was superb from the hostess greeting through paying the check. We asked our server for a wine recommendation and he hit the nail on the head. The pairing was perfect with the mushroom rice, lamb lollipop and the tomatoes. We will definitely be going back to try more of their shareable plates. Warning, they say that the quantities are meant for 2 people to share. If you're not big eaters, they're a bit large. What was my personal favorite? The tomatoes were a symphony flavors that work brilliantly together.

   Excellent dining experience. Service was personable, knowledgeable and friendly. The food was beyond sensational. From one of my favorite movies, they “make food that makes you want to stop eating”. One bite and you will stop to savor every flavor that is dazzling every sense. The shashimi was my favorite. I’m truly disappointed I won’t be able to enjoy this when I get back home. The shishito peppers and mushroom rice were delicious additions to our perfectly prepared ribeye. Perfect drink selection to pair. Do not miss this dining experience while visiting.

    Outstanding meal. Every dish is brimming with flavor, uniqueness, and fresh highlights of local ingredients. Absolutely outstanding meal. The lettuce salad is a delightful tangent on a green goddess salad. The oxtail with udon noodles is comfort food taken to the “cozy in front a fire while the rain coats the windows” level of comfort. Be warned: portions are “family style” provided your family really likes to eat! With just the two of us, we took leftovers home and found the doggie bag made for a great breakfast!
