Arepa & Co is the home of the Venezuelan food in London. Our food is a mix of authentic Venezuelan recipes and our own creative expression which are inspired by Venezuelan ingredients. We are located under the arches of the overground on Paradise Row, the trendy street of Bethnal Green. Our food is a mix of authentic Venezuelan recipes and the creative expression of our chefs whom are inspired by the rich and colourful Venezuelan flavours. Arepas (stuffed cornbreads) and Cachapas (corn pancakes) are the core of the menu, together with a delicious selection of small plates to share.

Our food is a combination of cornbread, back beans, fried plantains, avocados and coupled with tasty shredded beef, pork loin or delicious roasted vegetables. We offer a selection of small and big plates to both share and indulge in. Brunch is definitely not to be missed and in case you ask, we also have a broad variety of vegan and vegetarian dishes and most of our food is gluten-free.

    Only served brunch on Sunday. Most dishes were a bit stodgy to be honest. Was very cold in the restaurant and not a great ambience unfortunately.

    Great food, great environment, great great experience! We went on a Saturday evening when the restaurant was incredibly packed, so the attention was a bit slow, but the staff was doing their best to ensure everything went as smoothly as possible!

    Delicious food and drink as always, excellent service, all marred by terrible music played too loud. We might have stayed longer and ordered more drinks but had to escape the vocoder.

    I like Venezuelan food, but was rather underwhelmed by the offering. Food was good, but not outstanding. Cocktails are best avoided - weak and lacking fresh ingredients. Mine tasted overwhelmingly of bottled lime juice (although they did offer to replace with an alternative). Overall not too bad - just stick to beer and don't get your hopes up too high.

    My favourite thing about this place apart from the food is the staff. They are friendly and welcoming, but most importantly seem genuinely themselves. What I like about Is the quality of the dishes and they are very reasonably priced. Second visit was even better than the first will definitely be back for a third.
