   Excellent steak! . Probably the best I have ever had. I am steak snob and this was truly excellent. We had the whipped ricotta appetizer that was pretty good. The fettuccine was traditional and good.

   Dewey, our server, was excellent (as were all the staff we interacted with, from hostess station to manager who helped me add to the reservation). They do a great job at hiring and training and these students do a terrific job. Food was super, from drinks to appetizer and entrees. Food quality was especially superb for a hotel restaurant. Will definitely return!

   Our server was terrific, the food was decent. The Wagyu Strip from Japan I thought would be smoother and more buttery melt in your mouth. The Fusilli Bolognese was amazing as always. The tiramisu was different from last year but just as delicious. Also if you are going to slice the steak prior to plating please allow it to rest more so all the juices aren’t running all over the plate, this also causes all the flavor to leave as well. The Truffle Oil Aioli did have a hint of truffle however it still tasted more of mayonnaise. The lemon compound butter tasted excellent could have used more.

   Server kept us waiting a long time between her stops at the table even though we told her one of our party had to go to work right after our dinner. She seemed in a hurry to get away from the table most of the time. We had to tell her to hold on so everyone could finish ordering a couple of times. She was very friendly and polite, just not very timely. She disappeared after giving us the dessert menus and we had a very long wait to order dessert for our birthday twins - one of them had to rush eating his dessert so he could leave for his job. Food was excellent!

   Reservation clearly noted special occasion; but never mentioned. Yes to leftovers and they thre the food away. Too loud or inattentive or uncaring wait staff? Traveled 8 hours to take my freshman AU student to dinner for her birthday and it was never mentioned nor was I able to see her home with at least two more meals of food!
