   We had a wonderful greeting by staff and valet. Our server, Gabby was helpful and engaging, making appropriate suggestions. Overall the food was delicious but I would say the beef ragu was lacking. The top dish pick was the lemon cheesecake!

   We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and indicated this when making our reservation on Open Table. Upon arriving at the restaurant the Valet Parking was non-existent, so my wife went into the restaurant while I parked our car. She was informed by the hostess that our table was right by the entrance and was seated. She could immediately see that this was in this highest traffic area in the entire restaurant; the worst location for a couple celebrating their anniversary. We were given this seating location despite the hostesses knowing from Open Table that this was our anniversary. When I arrived, my wife was back at the desk asking to be seated in a more secluded location. My wife reemphasized it was our wedding anniversary, but we were told nothing else was available. However, close by we did see a more secluded booth area with seating for 4 and where a party of 2 was subsequently seated. We expected a better seating location since we had indicated on our reservation that we were celebrating an anniversary. Overall, the food was good and our server was a delightful young lady. However, the restaurant was quite busy and noisy - and did not provide an enjoyable dining experience for our anniversary. We will not return to Ariccia.

   Excellent steak! . Probably the best I have ever had. I am steak snob and this was truly excellent. We had the whipped ricotta appetizer that was pretty good. The fettuccine was traditional and good.

   Dewey, our server, was excellent (as were all the staff we interacted with, from hostess station to manager who helped me add to the reservation). They do a great job at hiring and training and these students do a terrific job. Food was super, from drinks to appetizer and entrees. Food quality was especially superb for a hotel restaurant. Will definitely return!

    Our server was terrific, the food was decent. The Wagyu Strip from Japan I thought would be smoother and more buttery melt in your mouth. The Fusilli Bolognese was amazing as always. The tiramisu was different from last year but just as delicious. Also if you are going to slice the steak prior to plating please allow it to rest more so all the juices aren’t running all over the plate, this also causes all the flavor to leave as well. The Truffle Oil Aioli did have a hint of truffle however it still tasted more of mayonnaise. The lemon compound butter tasted excellent could have used more.
