Arte e pasta is an Italian sharing plate restaurant, that uses ingredients imported from Slow Food producers throughout Italy, by the food wholesaler, The Chefs Deli.

Whilst its sister restaurant, Bombetta London in Wanstead (next to Snaresbrook underground Station) focuses on Italian grill, the main feature here is fresh pasta.

The restaurant doubles as a gallery, managed by Wood Street Walls, who facilitated an amazing mural on the front of the building. It is a skip and a hop from the delights of the famous neon collection at Gods Own Junk Yard, Pillars Brewery, Mothers Ruin Distillery, Wild Card Brewery tap room; the wider vibrant Walthamstow Village area. Located under a 10 minute walk from both Wood Street Station and Walthamstow Central, come by train, enjoy the wine list, craft beers on tap and creative cocktail menu.

    We'd been meaning to visit Arte e Pasta for a while after several glowing recommendations. Our visit last night exceeded our expectations! A decent amount to choose from for us vegetarians and when it arrived the dishes were packed with delicious flavour, interesting and very well presented. Our favourite was the beetroot agnolotti - so good! The restaurant wasn't that busy which is a shame for the staff but did mean we got to chat to them, in particular Vincent, about the restaurant and the inspiration behind the food. Oh and the Puglian red wine was really very good. We sat at the bar, which was a great spot to chat and eat. Highly recommend and we'll be back soon. Easily the best food we've had in Walthamstow this year. Thanks Vincent and Alex and team for having us :)

    We had a gorgeous meal at Arte e Pasta. Lovely table outside in the shade, beautiful food (my husband said the beef ragu was the best he'd had) and great service. Menu is meant to be shared- so depending how much you ordered could get a little pricey - but the pasta mains are pretty good size so you could easily just have one of those. And in my opinion the food is worth it!

    Outstanding. Delicious food and drink, fantastic way of eating with the shared courses. Love the art and the atmosphere. We always come for special meals and occasions.

    We popped in for a midweek dinner and were very happy with the experience (as always). A nice diverse menu that gets regularly updated/ tweaked to always make it interesting when you visit. The food is always on point - very tasty. Can't wait to pop in for brunch at some point in the future too.

    Amazing food and fantastic service. Delicious spritz, great choice of wines and the desserts were to die for. Dog friendly and also a great kids menu.
