   We had a wonderful family Easter Brunch at Artisan. The service as always was top notch. Only suggestion from our group was portion size. The French Toast portion was very small as was the Ham and potatoes. I don't expect huge portions when visiting a restaurant like Artisan but on this day it seemed smaller than usual. In my eyes Brunch is a combo of Breakfast and lunch 2 meals in one- we showed up hungry .

   Our experience on a Saturday evening, sitting at the bar, was extremely good. Micah, the bartender and our primary server, was spot on in all ways! Informative, attentive, professional, and the food and drinks he served were excellent. I would recommend Artisan and would complement Micah especially. Hopefully, Kurt will give him the kudos he deserves!

   Artisan is the type of restaurant that I only attend for special occasions because the cost is high and I enjoy a Pub type atmosphere better. The waitress only made one mistake in that I got my Manhattan stirred and not shaken (she apparently did not see a Bond movie). The timing was excellent in that I got to finish my salad before the main course was delivered. Great for special occasions but not for regular fare. I eat dinner out 3 to 4 times a week.

   Was passing through and stopped here for dinner. White tablecloth, dress appropriately. We were under dressed, but it was fine as we were seated in the lounge where it was more laid back. Food and service were excellent. Michael was our waiter and explained everything well and made sure we were taken care of.

   My husband had The Taste of Spring- his favorites were the salad, Octopus and the Ribeye, with the favorite wine Sauvignon Blanc I had the Three Course selection with the Artisan salad, Shrimp Risotto and Crème Brûlée with the Pinot Grigio- excellent combination- the salads were excellent with the perfect dressing, the risotto was heavenly- creamy and delicious The crème brûlée was a perfect ending! Presentation of all dishes just excellent and the service top notch! A Thanks for making our 34th anniversary special!! I highly recommend Artisan.

Our table indulged in a variety of offerings: the exquisite six-course Taste of Spring (with expertly curated wine pairings), the three-course selection, and the beautifully prepared pork ribeye. Each dish was a testament to the culinary team’s passion, executed with precision and creativity. The wine pairings, hand-selected by the in-house training sommelier and general manager, Jessica, elevated the experience even further. It’s clear that every detail, from preparation to presentation, is handled with care and intention. Artisan is for those who appreciate bold, adventurous flavors. A tasting menu should excite, surprise, and push boundaries—and this one does just that. If you’re hesitant to step outside your culinary comfort zone, this may not be for you. But for those who seek a journey of flavors, Artisan delivers in every course. One of the most impressive aspects is their ability to bring exceptional seafood to the Midwest. The Spanish octopus, in particular, was outstanding—a true testament to Chef Chris and his team’s skill. Service was just as impeccable as the food. Our server, Micah, was not only attentive and genuine but also had us laughing throughout the night—all while handling bartending duties as well. Artisan consistently delivers a five-star experience.     We went for our anniversary and did the spring tasting 6 course meal. Unfortunately, we only liked 2 of the dishes and the dessert. The striped bass was not impressive and the flavors were off putting with the couscous. A few of my pork chop pieces were quite pink in the middle. The flavors were just not what we hoped for. The duck confit with mushroom risotto was absolutely amazing! Our waitress was amazing and our dessert was very good. For the amount of money we spent, we would have hoped for a 5 star meal.
