My friend had the quiche and I had the Croque Madame. Both delicious. My friend had the margarita of the day and I had a rum cocktail with 2 different types of rum. Light and dark. Very good all around. The ambiance was nice and the noise level was quiet. Even though this restaurant is in a hotel (The Delamar), you would never know it. This is my second visit and will be a go to going forward. Amazing food, service, and location. Thank you!

Bar seating was comfortable and service was great. Dinner was delicious and cocktails were amazing.

Artisan is a gem. With a genius head chef, an enthusiastic wait staff and a very good wine list, this place has moved to the top of our list for West Hartford eating. The Tuna Crudo was so fresh and the scallops were perfectly cooked. The Sommelier brought our bottle to our table and we talked wine for a time. The room is so gentile with soothing decorum and with adequate sound proofing to avoid the high volume of noise found in many other restaurants.

Artisan is a favorite for delicious and fresh vegetable-rich meals. We love the Chef's monthly themed dinners and the way the kitchen aims to accommodate dietary preferences. I ordered the catch of the day over the brussels/pistachio/pesto preparation and it was perfect. There is a trend to fry the brussels until they are unrecognizable and cover them in sauce, but Artisan maintains a delicate flavored vegetable that compliments the dish. The autumn salad with blueberries, pomegranate seeds and almonds was excellent also. The main dining room is a cheerful relaxing space and the staff is welcoming and helpful.

The food and ambiance were excellent. My husband and I ordered the Hangar steak, which was delicious. My parents were visiting from out of town and they had the Salmon & Swordfish. They both said it was one of the best meals they've ever had! I love the lights and ambiance on the outdoor patio. The service was also excellent as was the wine! We will be back for sure. The hotel is lovely as well.

The Oktoberfest dinner was delicious! Each dish was presented well and had balanced flavor. The ambiance of the restaurant is relaxed and sophisticated. We love the Artisan and will revisit!

Great food, beautiful place. Trouble with the booking which was clearly for the garden. The hostess argued with me saying I had booked inside even when I showed her my open table confirmation and would not seat us in the garden. Our server moved us. Still, I will go back.
