Friends and I arrived for a catch-up dinner since we had not seen each other in quite a while. The evening was just lovely, from the wine, to the artful winter salad, to the amazing entrees. A wonderful dining room quiet enough for conversation. Our server (a lovely lady from Argentina) was amazing and very attentive without being stifling. We will definitely return.

I recently dined at artisan for their prix fixe Valentine’s Day menu. While the food was good and the service was excellent, the overall value did not align with the cost. The main dining room has a cozy and intimate atmosphere, which added to the experience, but for the price, I expected much more. I’ve been to higher-end restaurants where the food was significantly more flavorful and cost about $50 less. While artisan delivers in terms of ambiance and service, the quality and pricing of the meal didn’t justify the expense. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t consider it worth the money for a special occasion like this.

Great food with wonderful service! Our waiter - Leighton - was very attentive, but not over-present. He timed inquiries perfectly between courses and conversation!

We were looking for a restaurant that was relatively quiet, as my father has some hearing issues, esp in crowded places. Artisan was quiet, which was good. Our server was pleasant, but over the course of the evening seemed to forget us. I ordered a glass of sherry that took at least 20 min to come, we ordered appetizers (fried pickles and truffle fries) that took more than 40 min to come (even after we noticed it had been a long time and flagged down the waiter, who went off but never came back to let us know where the food was). Other tables who arrived before us seemed to be getting served. Regarding the food, the fried pickles were pickle wedges, not discs, and the skin on the pickle pieces was very thick, making them hard to bite or cut through. The gnocchi (ordered by 2 at our table) was so salty they couldn't finish it, even though the portion was small, like close to appetizer size.
