asha is a contemporary Australian restaurant with a Middle Eastern influence.
Find us in the leafy suburb of Goodwood, Adelaide, 2 doors down from Good Gilbert. This intimate dining space has been designed to elevate neighbourhood high-end casual dining, transporting you in time and place.
We have 3 distinct dining areas available, a hotel-esq bar with deep stools which will allow you to oversee Chef Scott Fox and his team cook for the restaurant whilst you can watch the hustle of the bar, with it's tall custom built cherry oak shelves, before you - we think this is our favourite spot. Alternatively, you may find yourself in our intimate bar booths wrapped in blue velvet and leather, these are very cosy and are best enjoyed with some of your best friends or family. Lastly, our main dining space will be for those who prefer a more formal setting with a little more space, banquette seating and dining chairs.

We are happy for you to curate your own menu or we can make the decisions for you.. Choice Menu bookings are given a longer dining time limit to ensure you can enjoy it the way it's been designed. Please inform us of any dietary requirements at the time of booking
A La Carte Menu

For something more casual, the A La Carte menu allows you to order your way without committing to a multi course meal, though you may still choose to do this at the time of your booking. Groups of 6+ guests will only be offered our 3/4 course shared menu. Please inform us of any dietaries or allergies at the time of booking. Please note, a la Carte bookings will be subject to a time limitation of 2hours due to limited capacity, thank you for understanding.

is a spicy dip made of hazelnuts, red capsicum, pomegranate molasses

is a meat pie in Maghrebi cuisine made with warqa dough, which is similar to filo

is a Spanish goat cheese (ours is from Mancebos)
sutlac
is a Turkish creamed rice pudding with rose water & vanilla
toum
is a garlic sauce common to the Levant, similar to aioli
zhoug
is a hot sauce made from chilli, garlic & herbs, originating in Yemen

Everything about Asha is understated - and the more enjoyable for it - from the moment you are greeted at the door to the excellent wine selection and cocktail list to the even more amazing food. You just want to soak up every last ounce of the flavours from Morocco to Yemen magically delivered from the compact kitchen. Book now!

Asha could only have been a more lovely oasis of deliciousness on a hot day if there had been date palm fronds to accompany the exquisite menu

This hidden gem is one of Adelaide’s best kept secrets. Everything about our night was perfect- the ambience, the food, the service. Highly highly recommend!

The people of Goodwood are so lucky to have such a wonderful restaurant in their midst. Excellent food, wonderful cocktails and beautiful wine. Great banter with staff who are always willing to serve you. A beautiful gem of a place. Could not fault anything. 5 out of 5. Thank you so much 🤙.
