7:30 reservation which we were on time for. Group of 3, hoping to have a leisure meal and catch up. When asked if we ready to order, we weren’t so the server informed us that the kitchen closes at 8:30. In other words, better order soon. Just felt like we were rushed. I get that the kitchen closes at 8:30 but if that’s the case they should not take a reservation for 7:30. Uses to really enjoy going here but will now choose elsewhere to dine. Oh, and this was a Saturday night.

While the service and cleanlenss was very good.the itallian food flavor was not mainland itallian. It was an itallian dish with a strong asian influance. You need to know this before you make a reservation.

Waitress was very friendly, but the food was disappointing. I ordered Filet Mignon steak. It came out looking like a stir fry beef with vegetables. Seafood combination plate with linguine wasn’t good.

Love Assaggio's . not real happy with charging extra for changing a pasta choice on an order though:( $3.00 extra to change linguini to rigatoni?? (is rigatoni that much more expensive)

The food was outstanding. Tasty, attractive and a good portion. Sawyer was an excellent server. He is the gold standard. Can’t wait to go back.

Assaggio Bistro Kahala is one of our favorite restaurants to celebrate special occasions or for every day dining. The food and menu is great and the portions are generous and delicious. The dining experience is always elegant and the service is efficient and seamless. The restaurant location is convenient with free parking which is appreciated. The staff is friendly and professional and the restaurant is large enough to accommodate both large and small groups in private rooms. We look forward to our next visit soon! Mahalo!
