                                        We live out of town and every time we come to New Orleans we make sure to have brunch here! The owner is very accommodating and the food AND drinks are delicious and amazing! Recommend to everyone we know!

                                        Overall, I was disappointed. Food was just okay but I didn’t consider it special. White wines were served too cold. Server was friendly, but not super attentive. Cocktail I ordered was a Pineapple Gold Fashioned which has a cute name, but really was too fruity and not balanced. The duck breast and risotto dish had a cranberry orange compote, which reminded me too much of cranberry orange relish that I associate with turkey and dressing. It also made the duck breast too sweet. Enjoyed the café brulot crème brûlée, and coffee.

                                        Tony and his staff served up a perfect New Year’s Eve dinner with a truly inspired wine pairing compliments of Josh Bower. Chef Christoper Lynch began our dinner with White Italian Osetra caviar ( need to learn where this was obtained) paired with a rose cremant. The Maine scallop tartare, baked spiny lobster, paneed veal Marsala, pan seared duck breast and topped off with a creative cafe brulot crème brûlée were truly wonderful! Our server, HD, was attentive and charming. The guests seemed to be enjoying themselves as much as we did. We truly loved the ambiance, food, and kindness shown by Tony and his staff.

                                        This is our favorite restaurant in New Orleans. We always make sure to plan a visit when we come. Service is always welcoming and engaging. The food never disappoints and the signature Shrimp and grits is a stand out. Also tried the blue crab ravioli this trip. Soft and the sauce melted in your mouth along with perfectly cooked crab filling. Thank you to everyone at the Atchafalaya for continuing to make our experience memorable.
