   The best roast beef meal we’ve had in a while. Potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, vegetables all cooked to perfection. Delicious butternut squash soup for starters, a “to die” for chocolate mousse which just slipped down a treat after the huge meal!! Monique our server - the only server - that night serving the whole restaurant because the menu was a simplified Roast dinner menu, was adorable; efficient and knowledgeable about the menu. She made a special evening more special - thank you Monique: Matt the chef not too grand ( as is often the case) to chit chat with us whilst in the midst of wrapping up the service. Produced a MEAN Yorkshire pudding and a seasoned to perfection cut of roast beef Fantastic

   Amazing value for really high quality food. Trish, our server, was amazing! Drinks were excellent! We will definitely be back

   Our 28th Anniversary dinner was amazing! Portions were NOT teeny tiny as you'd expect with fancy cuisine. Every bite was scrumptious. The serving staff was just delightful, and the ambiance was just right. We will definitely be returning :-)

   The dinner and service was fantastic!! We would absolutely go back. It was a bit loud in there but as could be expected with a full house! Overall a 10!

   Excellent food, with huge attention to detail. This is our 3rd or 4th experience at Alelier. One minor glitch with overcooked seabass on the Valentine's Day menu, they kindly adjusted the bill without us asking. Everything else was 8.5/10 minimum, two courses were flawless. Outstanding service from the waitress. Small square footage, so can be loud from conversation/mixing drinks. Perhaps some sound baffling could be installed. Music style + level was just right, one of the attractions. Be great to have more "set menus", it takes the stress out of choosing, permitting Matt to focus on high quality dishes, his forte. Well done guys, we will be back!!

   Had sabelefish. Overcooked and everything on the plate was dark brown. I couldn't tell what I was eating. Not appetizing. Baked brie was just melted cheese with a few cranberries. Not exciting at all. Chocolate dessert was ok but crumbles on top were dry and grainy. A big disappointment for my first visit after I had heard good things.

   Very quaint little bistro in Sidney. Compared very well to others in the area. Kinda gave me Basserie L’Ecole vibes. Great happy hour menu but real treasures are on their main menu. Save room for dessert.

   Our first visit here, a party of 7, overall of all of us were very impressed and all said they will be back for a second visit. The service was absolutely outstanding. The wine list was better than average and the prices for both the food and wine were reasonable for the quality we were served. It is obvious that the chef/owner is meticulous in his dishes and with just one mistake. was perfect. We will be back.
