   We went for the happy hour as we are small eaters and it was lovely. We had things from the Gapoy about menu and the regular appetizers. The Mussels and frites were delicious, but you’ll want to order bread as well to soak up that delicious wine sauce!

   We feel luck to have such an intimate, upscale restaurant in little Sidney By the Sea. All three of us enjoyed all 4 courses. Delicious and impeccable, friendly service.

   The food, with the exception of dessert, was outstanding. The fish was cooked perfectly and the beat tart was delicious. The dessert, a lemon pavlova, was a solid awful. It was hard and dry and smelled like a wet dog although the lemon cured was nice.

   We were excited about celebrating our 55 wedding anniversary . The ratings appeared good . We were seated promptly , lights were very bright so we asked if they could be dimmed and they were which then created amber but if ambience . We were slow to get our food others arriving after us got theirs first . When ours came my wife’s veggies were piping hot but her salmon was undercooked and barely warm . Our server offered to redo it how ever she was nearly finished her vegetables so she declined . Our server was very nice(she) and reduced the cost of my wife’s dinner and offered a free glass of wine . She was very nice in trying to make up for the kitchens error . It was a bit disappointing.

   Happy Hour proved to be good value. Our favourite item from this menu was the prawns. The service was exemplary.
