They should be ashamed of themselves…they advertised a New Year’s Eve experience for $155/pp plus drinks tax & tip.. with entertainment, and a 3 course meal., with a New Year’s party. The restaurant had no decorations, no music, no entertainment, the food was cold and unpleasantly served… the staff were ill prepared, didn’t smile and were downright rude. Not at all, wished a happy new year., the champagne welcome drink, was an afterthought, right before they all left and went into the kitchen, at 11:50pm.. we with only 2 other tables, were left alone in the restaurant, fumbling with our phones, to watch the ball drop. I expect very little on New Year’s Eve., we only went there, as they were close to Lincoln center, where we saw a performance., so we could walk in a pouring rainstorm afterwards, ..we called for directions, and the kid who answered gave us totally wrong ones..( go figure) so our 8min walk became 20min. Instead on offering a drink on the house, it was new years, or a towel as we were soaked., his response was “oops”.. I mean really!! Not only did we have to pay 1/3 deposit, they included a 20% tip onto that. I can handle poor food on new years., but direct misrepresentation, so they could overcharge was beyond terrible. Never again will I set foot into that restaurant, and I hope this review makes others think!!!

The best and most amazing restaurant in Lincoln Center. Everything is fresh as if it was just caught from the sea. I know that people have complained about this place before, but I’m very passionate as I was going for the last past 25 years. I love this place. I will come here even 25 more years

Had the best experience of dining at the Atlantic Grill yesterday. Starting from the host and finishing with deserts - everything was amazing! Ordered black caviar from Italy - yummy! Oysters from west coast (Alaska), were just delicious!!! Beef cheeks entree was superb! Great wine selection- and my favorite Barollo and Brunello!!!! I saw they have New Year’s Eve celebration- so now I am thinking to join them too. Such a great place! Yes, pricey, but hey! What’s cheap right now in New York City? Highly recommended! Love it, love it , love it !!!

Atlantic Grill is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere and exceptional service. The food is simply outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The oysters were perfection, brimming with freshness and paired with delightful accompaniments. The sushi was equally impressive, with every bite showcasing the chef’s attention to detail and quality. Highly recommended !!! It was my birthday dinner and can’t wait to come back again!

Despite the beautiful restaurant, attentive service, and great drinks, the food was truly bland. I dont know whether this was a random occurrence or if it is the standard, but the food was tasteless. The only dish with a modicum of flavor was the paella, which was still quite modest in its seasoning. I cannot earnestly recommend this restaurant, as the prices are far too high for the quality received.

I should have known that the restaurant has lost its reputation. I made a same day 5:45PM reservation December 28th for dining prior to attending the Nutcracker. Running late, we easily moved to a 6:30 reservation on open table, and there was a variety of seatings for every 15 minute time period open after 5:45PM throughout the evening. We were seated immediately when we arrived at 6:15PM. Very noisy and difficult to hear the person next to you. The bread basket & butter arrived. In my experience you can tell the quality of the coming meal by the temperature of the butter. The scoop of butter was hard; near frozen. The bread variety was excellent and tasty. The tuna tartare special arrived grey from too much seasoning, rather than pink. The additives were overpowering. The shrimp cocktail was good, though the cocktail sauce could have used more “kick” or a bit of horseradish on the side. The lobster Mac & Cheese for $59 had 2 pieces of small claw lobster ends on top which was burnt and 1 pc approx 1/2” mixed in the dish. Perhaps the lobster was ground up in the cheese sauce, but we could not taste nor find evidence of it. The Lobster entree was a “chick” at approximately 1-1.2 pounds & a bit dry. Our teen ate the burger and said it was good but for $39 there are better places to enjoy a burger. Atlantic Grill because of its proximity to Lincoln Center, and excellent experiences several years prior, was our choice for dining. We will go elsewhere in the future. The City always has options.

Party of 5 for a pre concert Dinner. Food was terrific, several different items ordered, all were consumed with gusto. Extensive Wine List, including somewhat affordable choices. We will be back.

Our server was outstanding. She let us stay quite a while before our show so we didn’t have to be out in the cold. The food was phenomenal. My daughter really enjoyed the sushi and they celebrated her birthday. Highly recommend this place.
