Meaning “stay-drink-place” in its native tongue, Izakaya is a word to describe the perfect spot to settle down with company as you dine together. Located in the heart of historic Key West steps from Duval Street, our restaurant provides a relaxed vibe to meet your palate. To live up to our name, we created a refined atmosphere that features an impressive open kitchen to complement the same great impression made by our menu. Join us for our monthly Kokadama Plant Class. We will enjoy sake cocktails and some plant based snacks while you learn the art of Kokadama, which translates to "moss ball" on which ornamental plants grow. Each class will feature different plants as you perfect the technique. While you will watch our host assemble the first plant, you can relax and enjoy drinks and snacks. After which, we will assist you in perfecting your take home kokadama. Happening the first Saturday of each month 12pm-2pm (limited bar seating only for this class)

This is an amazing restaurant. I’m so happy after a few years to finally get here. From the sake to all the tapas size plate offerings I had, everything was a very unique and tasty. We will be returning soon. I have the other half of the menu to still try. Thanks Chef.

This was our second visit in the month and the second time was even better. We went back to try more items on the menu - and we were not disappointed. The unique flavors and prep of many dishes was amazing. The service was exceptional. One of our KW favorites!

Food and service were exceptional. We ate at the bar which was terrific. Our server was very knowledgeable and directed us to very good selections. From the outside the place does not look like a place for great food so don’t let that fool you. All in all I would highly recommend Atlas.

Friendly staff, delicious food, really enjoyed our dinner! Not your typical Japanese sushi restaurant - more like Japanese tapas. A must next time you’re in Key West!

Atlas was recommended to us by a local couple. We were able to get a reservation for the bar and were immediately greeted by the owner, Amy who was phenomical, fun and imforative throughout our experience. The food- OMG- the FOOD! Everything was phenomenal. Think outside the box, try the mushrooms, try the crispy ginger.. try everything. We travel and eat at excellent restaurants, but Atlas was truly a step above the rest. Eat dish we looked at eachother and said, "this is the best thing we have ever had".. only to feel the same about the next dish. We can't wait to go back. Thanks for the great expereince Amy and staff!

Atlas is a must go to for Asian cuisine in key west. Fresh local seafood prepared by the best chef in town. Their menu is very diverse and the flavors are endless.
