   Went here for the first time for Valentines Day. I really appreciated that they did not have a separate Valentine’s Day menu. This was our first time here and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We started out with the milk bread, which was really delicious. My husband got the steak frites and I got the chicken and dumplings and we shared. Both of our meals were exceptional. The only thing we weren’t crazy about was the cheesecake dessert but overall, I would give this place a nine out of 10. We will definitely be back!

   Outstanding food AND service - which has been our experience every time we've eaten at Auden. You can't go wrong with any dish on the menu, and the cocktails are unique and delicious. Thanks to Lane for taking such good care of us!

   this was the worst dining experience I have had in Houston in years. Our party of 3 arrived at 7:15 for our reservation. By 7:35, we had not been seen by a server, not even for a water. We physically walked to the host to ask if we could at least place drink and apps order through him. He agreed and around 8:00 our appetizers came out and we finally saw our server. She let us know our drink order hadn’t been recorded and we needed to reorder. We reordered our drinks, which didn’t arrive until the conclusion of the first 3 dishes we ordered. While we waited over an hour for our drinks - there only seemed to be 1 bartender. The second round of food also took an exceptionally long time to come out - we were offered a complimentary dish but at this point 2 hours later we just wanted to get out of there. Speaking of food - horrible. Very bland and cold - nothing was even slightly rembarkable. We ordered: chicken 65, kale Caesar, cauliflower, elote, chicken and dumplings. We asked basic questions about the flavor profile of the wine we wanted to order and our server was unable to offer any advice. They said “I actually have no idea I would have to ask the bar” when we asked a question. The bathroom stall I used did not have a sink and the public sink did not have a soap. This is disgusting. At the conclusion of our meal - our check ended up being $90 each, in which our server remarked “was a steal”. This was my last straw - the food was absolutely mediocre, all dishes were cold and extremely underwhelming, the service was clearly unacceptable, and I would not recommend this establishment to anyone. I am so extremely disappointed to have taken a chance of this restaurant to take friends. 0/10 recommend to anyone - a waste of money and time - there are thousands of restaurants in Houston that will show you care and service with delicious food - and this was NOT IT. The owners and managers of this establishment should be embarrassed for this horrible experience.

   Creative, interesting menu but needs attention to execution: the kale salad was too salty and the whole branzino, while cooked to perfection, was not properly cut open so it was rather cumbersome to pull out either of the filets. The orchard of roses dessert was extraordinary - everything was perfect: portion size, point of sweetness, combination of fruit coulis and point of acidity, lightness of the cheesecake, crust. So tasty, fresh in the palate with multiple complementary flavors blending as you eat it. This has been the best executed dessert I've had in years anywhere in the world. Service was good, friendly but a couple of observations: too much talking amongst themselves, and a bit over the top... too many times asking how things were, etc. just relax a bit more. Worth going back as their menu is not run-of-the-mill, and they'll surely get execution under control soon enough!

   This was our first time at Auden and we absolutely loved it. Lane gave us great service and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious - plantain chips, milk buns, chicken 65(wow!) cheeseburger, lamb kabob, rigatoni, and chocolate mousse. If you love bubbles try the Zitsa. Also had a manhattan (not on the menu but executed beautifully). We were a party of four and we shared all the dishes family style as they came out. It was perfect. Looking forward to returning to try several dishes that sound delicious but we just didn’t have room for. Atmosphere is lovely too. Overall great experience!

   Place was pretty, located in a very nice area with a great back drop. Music on point. Fast service and food tasted very good. Will go back.

   Loved everything, and I will definitely be back. The food was 10 out 10. Drinks were well balanced and tasty. I suggest the branzino, chicken, mushrooms, and samosas. Harmony was our server and she was delightful and gave great suggestions. Thank you!

    Sat outdoors on the patio and had a lovely meal. Food was excellent, service was wonderful, and the restaurant was clean and inviting. The only thing that soured my experience was the parking garage. I used the self parking retail garage at Autry Park Garage. When exiting, the machine did not register my credit card. I called the operator/attendant so I could just pay by credit card verbally and instead of taking my credit card number, he asked for personal details. He started out with reasonable questions like my name and license plate and vehicle make and model. But why on earth would he ask my email address and my home address? When I told him I did not feel comfortable giving that information to a stranger, he told me that I was ”not cooperating” and hung up on me without opening the gate. Now, without opening the gate, where was I to go but remain in the garage against my will? This person abused his position to attempt to gain access to my home, and the company who hired him should be aware that it is inappropriate to ask customers where they live when they just want to pay for their parking. I know this restaurant has nothing to do with the parking company, but perhaps they could pass along the feedback to Sovereign because these “practices” could impact future customers as well.
