   The location on the patio is stunning, it was a gorgeous day and our birthday gathering had a great time! The restaurant staff had very thoughtfully blocked off parking spaces so that the parade crowd overflowing the other parking lot didn’t take everything. The food is good brunch food. Our party especially liked the Fried Deviled Eggs, Shrimp & Grits, Chicken & Waffles and the Oyster Sandwich. Blue Heron was judged best cocktail. Naturally, being Carnival time the restaurant was a bit short-staffed, so that service took longer than usual to bring drinks and food to the table. A couple of dishes were served not very warm. Might have sent back but seemed better not to.

   The porch is beautiful! The service is great! The menu has lots to offer, some of our items were good but not amazing, others were top notch!

   Food was great , service Excellent! We were running a bit late & the hostess kindly held our table outside. Beautiful setting, relaxing, enjoyable lunch .

   Food is decent. Nothing special. Restaurant was busy so the service was a little off. It appeared that tables were not being cleaned timely. We sat outside and the floor was littered with spilled drinks and food thrown on the floor. I will say the food came out of kitchen quickly.

   Our experience, starting with Maitre De and moving to the service of the staff was light hearted and as delicious our meal. Started with a perfect sazerac ( or was it two?). Then we were served a lovely meal.. We didn’t really want to leave, but it was curtain time. We will be back soon.

   What a fantastic experience! Finally - a place to dine in New Orleans without deafening noise levels - and an attentive staff serving marvelous new takes on comfort food. The deviled egg appetizer alone is worth the trip! Congrats to Team Brennan for serving up another home run👍.

   The Audubon Clubhouse is off the beaten path, but it has become a first-class dining destination since Dickie Brennan’s organization took the helm. It’s not super fancy, nor is the menu particularly cutting edge, but the kitchen knows what it is doing— everything is perfectly cooked and presented. Service is generally excellent, but our server asked, “Are you still working on that?” when our plates were virtually empty and had upside down forks on them. That’s a phrase that never belongs in a restaurant of this caliber. The setting, overlooking the live oaks on the golf course, is beautiful and tranquil, especially when it’s warm enough to dine on the porch.

While we do coach our staff to be on the lookout for some of the silent signals you mention, it should be noted that our guests do come from a variety of cultures and backgrounds, so we do have to careful with making too many assumptions about what they are communicating to us.     Over priced steak , menu said new strip. Bill said prime strip. Charged is $65.00. Which was grossly overpriced for a piece of New York strip.
