   We visited Avec in the West Loop for brunch and enjoyed the cozy, intimate atmosphere. The space is charming and has a warm, inviting feel. The service was great—our server was attentive and friendly. We tried the stuffed dates, French toast, and pork belly, along with a mimosa. While the presentation was lovely and the ingredients seemed high quality, the flavors didn’t quite hit the mark for me personally. However, I can see why it’s a popular spot, and I’d definitely be open to trying it again for a different meal. Overall, Avec has a lot of charm, great service, and a unique menu that others might really enjoy!

   The restaurant couldn’t seat us right away due to a prior reservation running late. To make up for it they gave my whole party a glass of bubbles and bread, humus and dips to apologize. When we sat down we all ordered drinks and then shared great food with each other.

   As a visitor from out of town, my recent dining experience in Avec West Loop was exceptional! From the moment I walked in, the service was top-notch – attentive, friendly, and genuinely accommodating. The food matched the service in quality; every dish was delicious. The overall atmosphere was wonderful, and it was a truly pleasant experience. I'll definitely be returning on my next visit to Chicago!

   Very nice find by my wife. Great small plates to share and we split a large plate also. Great wine selection. Spiro was a great server. He loved talking about the food. Enthusiastic and knowledgeable.

   Small venue with communal tables in a noisy environment. But food is terrific and service is very, very. Attentive.

    I have had some great meals, but this was as good as any I've had in quite some time. Great house cocktails AND mocktails. Every bite was delicious and the service could not have been more attentive without hovering or being annoying. Definitely a hit.
