   Main thing, we thought the food was excellent! Service wasn't great for us. Arrived and almost got turned away as they couldn't find my booking on OpenTable. Then it felt like our table wasn't on anyone's radar...after we ordered no one came to check on us, and once we were done and stacked up our plates it was a long wait until we got someone over to give us the bill. Hard to catch anyone's eye. To be fair, it looked like the other tables were well attended to.

   Such a fantastic place and a neighborhood gem for us. We started going from the very week they opened and have been regulars ever since. It has only been improving. The menu is varied and the dishes are always really delicious (guac is out of this world and churros with tres leches are to die for). Roy and his team surely make you feel welcome and comfortable - the service is outstanding and the margaritas (oh, the margaritas...) are the best I have tried. We love the place and will always keep coming back.

   Azteca exceeded all expectations. The food was incredible, but the service was even better!! Roy was outstanding and his recommendation are not to be missed ;) Everything is homemade, including the mind-blowing Mexican corn tortillas, and you can taste the authenticity in every bite. The atmosphere, the flavours, the energy...it all takes you straight back to Mexico. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and speak Spanish, which made the whole experience even more immersive. We will be coming back for sure!

   Best Mexican restaurant and favourite restaurant overall in South West! Always have such a nice time here, the food and margaritas are amazing and most of all Roy always creates such a great vibe at the restaurant and is such a wonderful host! Recommend to all my friends!

   Great food but awful, slow, unfriendly service. They also tried to upsell us way more food than was required for our table so beware of this! We were there for over two hours and only offered one drink, took over 30 mins to ask for this bill. This was a Monday night in Jan with only 4/5 tables occupied.

   When we arrived we were told we only had the table for 90 mins which was a little surprising. It’s hard to guage portion sizes (which aren’t that generous) and when we tried to order a little more food we were told we couldn’t because they wanted the table back 20 minutes later. Not as good as the last time we went. Oh yes we also got charged extra for 4 little tortillas that came with one £35 dish that only had 3 each to start with (10 cm diameter ) !!!
