Probably the worst dining experience in a long, long time. I'm only allowed 2000 characters which is only 1/10 of what I need to say. Our reservation was for Jan. 12, 2025, 6:30 PM, in celebration of my brother-in-law's B.D. Six of us, table set for 5 and three requests to get the additional place setting. 1. Totally understaffed and service was SOOOO slow. 2. Reservation was for the roof, but closed that night, no call no notice. 3. Two of us ordered the Pollo Mole -- 20- min later told they were out, 20 min after that the new order was taken. 4. No olives (though requested) in a set of martinis. 5. Very low pour of wine by the glass -- I was told 4 oz. WHAT? Normal is 5 to 6 oz. Total ripoff. 6. Mix-up when food arrived -- staff did not know who got what. 7. Food was adequate, however, my halibut was nearly inedible, dry and hard. 7. Ordered a celebratory ice cream desert (with sparkler), but it never came. There's more, but not enough room here. You would think management would come around and apologize or offer a free round of drinks or something. Nothing. I've asked for the manager to call me, nothing yet. Bill was $700+. Overall a terrible experience and I cannot recommend a meal here. Phone number on website doesn't work. When you do find the number (good luck), the mailbox is full so you can't leave a message. Is this place wanting to go out of business? Seems it's well on its way . . . .

Reservation booked weeks before my birthday dinner for the Sugar High Rooftop and will only eat up there due to the ambiance. I got a text message at 5:37PM and our reservation was at 6:00PM on 01/12 saying that we would be seated on the main level or poolside. We were already on our way to the restaurant at this time. Why we were not notified at least hours or days before letting us know that the rooftop was not available would have been acceptable. This is not the 1st time that this happened. It happened back in September for my husband's birthday. We arrived prior to 6pm and expressed our dissatisfaction of the change of locations for my 61st Birthday celebration- she said would you like to keep the reservation or cancel you? No compassion what so ever and seated us poolside. We let the server also know of our dissatisfaction and how poorly this was handled. He apologized and said that the restaurant is having a difficult time getting the staff to work on a Sunday and that they were short staffed in all areas. We ordered our drinks, appetizer and entrees. We ordered the Surf and Turf entrees but was not ask or advised that the entrees didn't come with side dishes, only the poor quality of steak and shrimp. The Surf and Turf arrived and was full of fat that we had to cut off and was of poor quality of a steak and it was swimming in a pool of chimichurri which was not a great flavor like previous experiences at this restaurant. We had our meal, paid the check and will not return back as there are too many other restaurants in Palm Springs to eat at. We paid good money for a poor meal. Bad or poor management should not exist in such a high caliber Boutique Hotel of this nature. So sad to leave but I will not subject myself to another bad experience and ruin my birthday dinner due to neglect and poor management of a what we thought was a high quality restaurant. Hope it improves for other guest's sake. Thanks for listening.

They made me sign a large table agreement because there was seven people. To guarantee we would all spend $75 and leave a 20% tip. This is outrageous and the first time we’ve ever been asked to do anything like this. The food was mediocre. The ribeye steaks were the thinnest steaks that I’ve ever encountered.

We booked this for a New Year’s Eve dinner. When we book through OpenTable, it didn’t say that there was any dinner special, which is why we reserved it because their menu looked really good. Once we arrive, they told us the only option that night was $150 per person dinner. At this point it was 8:30 PM on New Year’s Eve so it would be nearly impossible to go sit down somewhere nice and have a good dinner at that time . They sold us on “dinner and a show “ which is what made it worth it to us. The show I kid you not was a minute and 30 second synchronized swimming performance and that was it. They sold it to us like it was a full dinner show. Was not worth the price at all and honestly wish we could get some money back because some of our food came out cold. For that price it should be top notch. Not happy overall

The Fyre festival of New Year’s Eve dinners. Food was inedible and cold. The “lasagna” was a pile of flavorless stir fry. The lobster bisque was a lumpy orange pudding. The ceviche was a dollop the size of a quarter. Every plate was worse than the last. Oftentimes cold. Was it their first time cooking food? Their first time serving a meal? We sat in pitch black. The service was oddly neglectful and slow. Our waiter quit and left halfway through dinner. Our party of 7 joked all night about how wildly bad everyone’s food and the general experience was. We were looking forward to the “synchronized swimming” which turned out to be three swimmers performing for under two minutes. 0 out of 5 stars. Maybe even -2 out of five
