   Absolutely phenomenal sushi Maki rolls. Incredibly fresh, packed with a fair amount of protein and super flavorful. Also not insanely expensive. Good value for the money, especially in River Oaks. Highly recommend and look forward to going back!

   Azumi was great from beginning to end. The food was fresh and delicious. I highly recommend the Crispy Rice. Our table ordered 4 rolls ( Spicy Yellowtail, Tuna Tataki, Flaming King Crab, Surf N Turf) and shared everything and we were not disappointed by anything!

   This was my first visit to Azumi, though I’ve dined at many of Houston’s top sushi restaurants. The ambience was one of the highlights—the interior felt inviting, and the DJ added a great energy to the space. Unfortunately, the food and cocktails were just average, and the service left much to be desired. Throughout the meal, dishes sat uncleared, entrées arrived before we had silverware, and our water glasses were only refilled twice. While these may seem like small details, they add up—especially at a restaurant that markets itself as a fine dining experience. Overall, my visit was fair, but with so many excellent sushi spots in Houston, Azumi didn’t leave a strong enough impression for me to return.

   The main reason to go to a restaurant is the food, and this place definitely delivered. We shared three entrées, and all of them were worth the price. I highly recommend the short rib fried rice, it was amazing. The only real complaint I have is the DJ, he kept messing with the volume, making it really loud one moment and then lowering it again for some reason. Service was good but a bit slow, which makes sense since it was packed. They forgot to bring our lamb at first, but it wasn’t a big deal, and the manager even came out to apologize, which was nice but not really necessary. Overall, great food, good service, and good vibes.

   Hip place to be seen but overpriced food as usual for these remake restaurants. Sushi menu is very limited and the variety and immigration of rolls is seriously lacking.

   Azumi was great! Came for Valentine’s Day and had the prefix dinner. The cocktails were excellent, the food was good, and service/atmosphere were great. Highly recommend a visit!

   My wife and I had a wonderful Valentine's Day meal! The food was great and our server Phi is awesome! He steered us towards some of the great dishes we had: Flounder Crudo, the Shishito peppers, Spicy Yellowtail roll, Surf N' Turf roll, and the Sake Toro Aburi Nigiri. He really knows how to treat his customers well! It was a very memorable evening!
