    We went for Thanksgiving, and were thankful we did. My husband had the traditional turkey dinner, and I had the filet mignon. Both were excellent, as was the service. The best part was the chocolate lava cake for dessert. It was so delicious!

    This was my first time at the restaurant and was excited because of the menu and the four star review it got. Unfortunately, it didn’t meet up to my standards. The steaks we got were Wagyu and had grill marks that left a very charred charcoal taste in your mouth every time you bit down. The steak was tender, but can honestly say I couldn’t tell the difference between a decent steak anywhere else in town and what they’re calling Wagyu here. The lobster was overcooked and had a thick Bernaise sauce on it that was overpowering. The waiter never did ask if we wanted anything to drink other than water and told us that we could trade the au gratin potatoes out for any other side on our dinner plate but neglected to tell us that the side we substituted on the menu was a $20 upgrade until after we got the bill (also not specified on the menu). The glazed bacon appetizer was decent, although parts were either too chewy or too hard. The dessert we got was the smores which was basically a modified molten lava cake with a marshmallow on top. The atmosphere was nice and the people were very nice so I hate to leave a bad review, but if you don’t like a burnt char taste on your steak where the grill marks are, make sure to order something else on the menu. For $200 for 2 people it was overpriced and the chef’s culinary skills lack refinement of other comparable restaurants where you could spend the same amount. Don’t let the 4 stars fool you on this one!

    This is an outstanding restaurant. Our server Hayley was fantastic and the prime rib was the best that I’ve had in years!! No frills decor and ambience, but you don’t care when the food and service is this good. And incredibly reasonable.

    They have changed the prime rib seasoning and the au jus. It is good , but I prefer the previous receipt.

    Outstanding service. All 4 meals were outstanding: meatloaf, chicken, burger, and a salad . Gin and tonic, Riesling, and Quilt wine. The bread pudding was melt in your mouth. Will definitely go back.highly recommend.
