The service was terrible. The waiter never even smiled once the food was mediocre for the price. We were recommended this restaurant as we’re staying at the Pierrre hotel and they mentioned it’s one of the finest. We were very disappointed and would not recommend anyone to spend the money or go out of their way to come to this restaurant!

Lovely restaurant and excellent service. The wagyu beef carpaccio (appetizer) was delicious. For our main, my husband ordered the fettuccine special with veal and I ordered the short rib. While the fettuccine dish was good, was disappointed in the short rib, it was dry (would not recommend). The olive oil cake and gelato dessert was very good, the sea salt surprisingly went very well with the gelato. Overall would still recommend, but perhaps stick with the pasta dishes.

Selected this restaurant while visiting NY, due to the good reviews and fine selection of wines. The food was good, what irked me was the rude behaviour of the staff. The restaurant ran out of bread, and after requesting thrice over 20 min, we called the manager who broke the news to us. And in a very sarcastic way mocking our request for bread. Bread was free by the way though we footed a 650 USD bill among 8 of us. We decided not to tip. He manager literally fought with us saying something like he hopes he does not see us again. We asked for his name to put into This review, he wouldn’t give us. Hence I am putting this review without his name. He was the only guy in a suit though. I absolutely do not recommend this restaurant for the lack of courtesy and warmth. It would count as one among our worst fine dining experience so far, it was far from that and quite the opposite.
