Just mediocre and expensive Italian food. They sat us down right on top of the kitchen AC unit so the table was moving the entire meal. Apparently this is a known issue that no one is doing anything about since dining experience isn't top priority. The Ragu was tasteless. Service was good though.

A shell of its former self. Mediocre pasta tasting plates. Absurdly hurrried service. Servers were pleasant but felt like they were running a race. Menu covers look like they haven’t been replaced in 20 years. The menu inserts slide around im the binders and look sloppy. I expected better for a $300 pasta meal. This used to be my favorite restaurant. Unfortunately, I don’t plan to return unless I hear of significant improvements.

The service was slow at times, but our server Alex was great. Unfortunately the manager did not accept the gift cards we were trying to use as payment and was extremely short and not willing to try to login the numbers manually, even though the cards were activated. He returned them abruptly and said these do not work. I felt that was extremely rude, especially since we chose to come to babbo to celebrate a big milestone birthday with our family.

Service was excellent and food was great. Yes it’s expensive, but the quality, taste and experience are the reason why. Best meal I have had in NYC (4 years here). I have eaten a lot of salads in my life and they served the best salad of my life.
