   The drinks took way too long to arrive, and the drink server had an attitude. The same issue happened at the table next to us (their drinks also came late). However, the server’s attitude toward them was completely different. About 40 minutes after we ordered, our drinks finally arrived, and the server casually said something like, "I tried my best to make this." He even spilled my drink but didn’t bother to apologize. Five minutes later, he brought the drinks to the next table and started with a sincere apology, saying something like, "I’m so sorry for the delay," and then went on to explain the situation. It felt as though he wanted us to hear how differently he treated them compared to us. I’ve never experienced discrimination in my life, but today’s experience gave me a glimpse of what it might feel like. What a memorable experience :)

   I love coming to Bacari on Third Street! I think I’ve been here three times over the last few months with my friends for lady dates and celebrations. The food is exquisite, the wait staff are attentive, my lemon drop was perfect and the service was stellar! It’s candlelit and cozy, with an outdoor patio ambience hard to find in LA, and you must enter through a tunnel to get inside. Intriguing, right? 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Denson Aldahl ✨Great happy hour too! Girls just wanna have fun-un and with a gem like Bacari, you won’t have any trouble.

   Bacari is a lovely, trendy, busy restaurant with a great outdoor garden patio. The music is loud and it is difficult to have conversations. We asked for a quiet table twice. Once while making the reservation and once when I responded to a text message from the restaurant asking for special requests. We were seated below a large speaker. The service was so slow that the waitress brought us a free desert we didn't ask for, to compensate for the slow service. The food was disappointing. The prices for alcohol, outrageous. $25 for a glass of average chardonnay! I ordered the lentle stew. It was a puree, more like soup. It was tasteless so it was sent back. The brussel sprouts were undercooked. The vegan pizza was awful. It was thin soggy crust with low quality tomato sauce spread on it, with undercooked baby tomatoes and spinach on top. No sauteed vegetables. It was not good. The gem salad was good. But it was clumps of big chunks of romaine lettuce without being chopped up. The beet salad was good. We ordered the hummus dish with 3 small hummus dips. Only one tasted like hummus. The rest were not good. We ordered the corn. It was good. My friend ordered the scallops. She liked it but only got 3 small ones. Not enough food. The other dish was lamb Schwarma. The flavor was good, but it was more of a small ice cream scoop of ground lamb Bolognese sauce than actual Shwarma. I placed a purse and hat on an empty chair. The manager handed me my things instead of asking me to remove then from the chair or offering ro bring an additional chair for our things. All in all, it was a disappointing meal. I don't know that I would return.

   Está delicioso! Solo el dueño se ofendió porque le pedimos la terminal y estuvo muy rara esa conversación, pero el ambiente está muy lindo

    Food was good. Service was fine. However, we were told three times that we needed to be done with our dinner and out of our table by a certain time. I can understand that the restaurant needs to turn the table but having a server tell us that it wasn't a big deal (after we had ordered another round of drinks) gave us a sense that we wouldn't be told to get out twice after that. No one informed us of this policy when the reservation was made, when we were seated or when it took 20 minutes for someone to come and take our orders. We were trying to finish as quickly as possible (we weren't able to finish a couple dishes or two of our drinks) when what appeared to be a manager came out and reminded us AGAIN. I've never felt so unwelcome in a restaurant. I like the food and the setting but have definite reservations about ever eating here again.
