BAITA is Eataly's winter restaurant inspired by the ultimate winter destination, the Italian Alps! BAITA is the Piemontese word for a small ski lodge. As temperatures drop, BAITA’s menu features food and drink fit for chilly ski slopes and cozy fireplaces including an all-new gnoccheria serving pillowy potato gnocchi, melted raclette cheese, and spuntini snacks (Alpine-style finger food). As you relax in BAITA's Alpine lounge, enjoy specialty cocktails, warming wines, and more dishes inspired by the flavors of the Italian Alps.

Please note: BAITA is no longer accepting reservations for the 2018 season. Since this is a seasonal concept, BAITA will end after Sunday, March 17.

We came in for the raclette, and were very disappointed. We wanted the REAL raclette "experience," and instead we got a plate of vegetables covered in a bit of cheese that was melted over them in an oven. The service was great, but I wouldn't waste my time or money again.

After reading about Baita, I decided to take my husband for his birthday lunch. He loves raclette, and we have dined at Eataly numerous times in the past. When we arrived, no one was aware that they even took reservations for Baita, but it wasn’t a problem because there was no one there—plenty of tables. Our server treated us as though we were interrupting his day. He was not welcoming in the slightest. He didn’t ask us how we were, if we would like to start with drinks—he just kind of stood there and let us order. He never checked in on us to ask how the food was (mediocre at best—$30 for raclette and I would expect a slightly more inspired plating), he never asked if we wanted more drinks, or water, if my son needed a cup or anything at all. The support staff was nice, but our server made a lame experience downright irritating with his rude attitude and downright lack of service (which seemed purposeful-why? Was it because we were the only table of color and not old rich white ladies?). Between us, my husband and I have over 20 years experience in the service industry and we have excused all kinds of off service. But, this experience was inexcusable. To top it all off, the fish counter seemed to be deep cleaning and using an incredibly noxious cleaner to do so—why would you do this while people are sitting 15 feet away dining? The smell was disgusting. We will not be dining or shopping at eataly again.

My wife and I enjoyed the raclette with marbled potatoes. Truly a fantastic dish, and our first experience with raclette. We would HIGHLY suggest it.

Neat atmosphere, love the hanging plants from the ceiling! Food was delicious, and the hot wine and melted cheese was a perfect remedy from the winter cold.

We went on a late Saturday afternoon and it was very crowded. Service was slow, took a long time to be greeted and get drinks. We waited a long time after lunch for the check. Food was ok - we got the raclette and the cheese got cold very quickly. It probably didn't help that the hot cheese was poured over cold vegetables.

Enjoyed delicious raclette appetizers and a pasta dish for main course. The only down side was that since both are coming from different kitchens, the pasta arrived before the Raclette.

The menu was different from what was on the menu online. Switched out the pastas. Had happy hour wines and mozzarella, was great. Went to other restaurant in Eataly for pasta. Our server was great and recommended starting light if wanted pasta somewhere else.

What a lovely date night! The food at BAITA was amazing and they were running a KILLER special for an appetizer, entree/ side and gelato for $28 which was such an amazing value. DON'T MISS THE RACLETTE! It was superb as was the arancini and pork. Our waiter was so nice (recommended some delicious wines) and the food came out very quickly. I would recommend eating here on a weeknight though if you don't like crowds since it is right in the center of Eataly. Was a bit overwhelming in that regard but otherwise very fun.
