   It was fabulous food & drink but very noisy . Almost a full house, we appreciate it. They had dry January cocktail, and beer.

   First time at this restaurant and several people were waiting outside for the doors to open at 5 PM when entering, I thought the look of the restaurant was fabulous from the lighting to the decorations on the walls to the bar, which is meticulously neat as a bit. Our server came quickly, brought us water and beverages of choice. We ordered the short ribs with fettuccine and it was out of this world delicious I plan to go back again.

   Don’t waste your money here. I used to love this place for its cozy atmosphere and unique dishes, but it’s not the same anymore. After a disappointing experience, I decided to give it another chance, only to be let down again. I called earlier in the day to confirm if they could accommodate a vegetarian entrée for a family member with dietary restrictions. The receptionist seemed inexperienced and clueless, eventually transferring me to someone who I assume was a manager. He assured me they could prepare pasta with vegetables. However, when we arrived, our waiter, seemed overwhelmed by our request. Despite explaining that we had called ahead, he appeared flustered and informed us that the kitchen could only prepare a salad—something we had already ordered as an appetizer. When I asked again about the pasta, he flatly said no. The issue wasn’t just their inability to accommodate but the dismissive and unprofessional attitude so we requested the check without ordering entrees, much to the waiter’s apparent shock. For a restaurant charging premium prices, the service was unacceptable. With such high staff turnover, it’s no wonder the quality has declined. Save your money and go elsewhere.

   A solid meal for the 4 of house. Pork osso buco was the highlight. Nice wine list. Service was excellent.

   Such a beautiful New Year’s Eve meal, each meal ordered was tasty and so delicious. Cocktails were beautiful and amazing. Service was exceptional. Would highly recommend.

   We had an early reservation so the restaurant was fairly empty, many open tables. We were seated at a table where servers were entering and exiting into dining room - busy and constant activity. I asked to be moved - the hostess spent minutes on her computer - I finally asked if we could move one table back, duh. That was done. Server ok. Ordered pasta with short rib (delicious) and special double hamburger, meat dried out, huge disappointment. My dinner partner and I enjoyed chatting, but the experience and food didn't add anything to the evening. I have been her 3-4 times, other experiences good. Perhaps this was a one off, but too many really good restaurants in Sarasota to choose from.

   We love this place !! But we would like to see more variety with the entrees - however, we have favorites, so will keep coming back. Ambience is a little lacking - clean but a lot of room for improvement - Service is always excellent - the best anywhere and the food and cocktails are prepared with care and attention to details ! Great wine list as well ;)
