If you're going to take your name from a badass like the patron saint of blacksmiths, you better be able to back it up. Baldamar marks the turning point where we usher in the new standard for style, service and steak. It means the menu’s made with old-world craft at its core and modern day meat eaters in mind — with flavors forged in fire and folded into pure primal perfection. It’s where every steak is aged 40 days and 40 nights for a taste of biblical proportion, and where crazy-fresh seafood means it was caught during your morning commute. At the bar sits every spirit imaginable, and someone who isn’t afraid to use them. This is more than a new steakhouse. It’s a line in the sand. It’s not just where you celebrate special occasions. It’s where you create them.

    Unbelievable experience Teresa our waitress remembered my name and my 2 sons name from a month ago!! That’s awesome service. The mgr Mel and front staff were Very pleasant and accommodating on a busy Fri night. The food goes without saying always right on with cook time on the steaks delicious!! I’m so impressed I felt like royalty 👸🏼 and will definitely return. Ambiance is so cozy and dark. Love it. 😊

    Our service from hostess to bussers was fantastic. The bread of life is always a star. The crust is salty and crunchy, a real treat. The Caesar salad is one of the best. The mashed potatoes were underwhelming. The gorgonzola was hardly noticeable and they were luck warm. The 12 oz. fillet was perfectly done and seasoned very nicely. The addition of béarnaise was an unexpected flavorful side addition. My real concern was the drinks priced at $16 for a petite glass with a large oversize ice cube. All very artistic, but you are not fooling anyone. There was maybe 2 oz. of a beverage including the mixer.

    This is one of my wife's favorite spots so we visit with some frequency. She loves the sweet potato fries. Always have great service.

    If you’re missing a dining experience in New York City, try Baldamar. It’s so fabulous. The food, the server, April, the drinks, the desserts! We’ve been feasting here since it opened in 2019, thru covid and now. Ask for Michael. He’s the best

    I have eaten there over a dozen times and its always solid. The steaks are done to perfection, and the service is always top notch.

    Our waitress, Amanda, was superb! She was very polite and cheerful. She attended to all of our needs and was a wealth of information regarding the menu.

    We dined the Sunday all day Happy Hour. Definitely need a reservation as place was extremely busy. Had hamburger, chicken sandwich and fries and very good. Also had the special drink of month old fashion and Manhattan and it was a generous pour. Our server was knowledgeable and prompt so we were very satisfied with service and he was very busy. Bought the gift card special and it was an excellent deal.
