   I really did like Balfes unfortunately this time it wasn’t a good experience and we most definitely will not be going back. We were having a celebration and the 5 of us were put at a small table up at the door right beside the coat rail and the till. The draft from the door was awful Lots of tables up at the windows vacant so we didn’t understand this. I just got on with it order champagne Moet which was €160 per bottle way over priced for casual dining. Ordered food ate and then we left as the table was so uncomfortable. We were planing on staying and spending more but unfortunately it wasn’t the same place. The food is not so good. Deserts are all frozen. Over priced and over rated. So disappointed.

   Food was nice. Nothing special and not sure it's worth the price. Have had nicer meals in other places for less.

   Very good service in a busy (a little noisy) restaurant. 2 mains (burger and chicken) were good - but nothing special. Some main courses expensive. But a pleasant evening enjoyed.

    Steak totally over priced @ 49 euros. The meat was fatty and nearly not worth the effort trying to eat it.
