However, the whiskey produced at the time was different from what we know today, as it was often flavored with herbs and was not aged. We have been going to the Ballantyne Ballroom for Christmas for over 25 years and it is always very good but this year, everything was outstanding. Great selection of food and the service was impeccable.

We normally celebrate Mother’s Day at Omni Grove Park Inn in Asheville NC - however we thought we would try Ballantyne Hotel since we reside close by. The food selections to go with the meat were all veggies/rice/small potatoes - however no Mac n Cheese or a Soufflé-overkill on salad bar veggies and hot veggies-the deserts were all parfaits. For the price you pay - should receive better portions and better overall options of food!
