   Great steaks and sides. Potatoes were amazing and we ended up ordering an addition portion because everyone loved them. Arugula salad was very plain

   Been to Ballo several times. Service overall excellent, food today was subpar notably a pasta dish . Pasta not cooked well

   Food and service very good. We understand that we pay a little more for the reason off the location we choose. But to charge money for bread?? Really $3 for 4 slices , while spending $130 for food and drinks. They should reconsider charging people for bread. Being raised by an Italian family are meals were served with bread. It was an option for us to have. Last night myself and my 81 year old dad ordered a cold antipasto and fried calamari. Food like this is eaten with bread in my culture. For me to ask and get a response , “we make our own bread now, so we charge $3” for $3 I should have been given a loaf not 4 slices. Again it’s a nice place with pleasant people working there. But they should really re-consider serving bread with the food they serve. It’s a turn off to a customer like me and my dad. Angelo Morello

   My daughter and I arrived for an early dinner before a basketball game. The restaurant was sparsely filled until closer to game time. We were immediately served. We ordered the bread appetizer, a Caesar salad and we both had Filet Mignon with a side of fingerling potatoes. The bread was one pull-apart dinner roll. It was very but the serving size was too large for two people. I was surprised it was a paid appetizer instead of a basket of slice bread you often receive at Italian restaurants. The Caesar salad was well chopped so I did not have to cut large pieces of lettuce like at many placed. The dressing was not very flavorful though. The filets were cooked to order. They were served with Ballo's steak sauce which added a nice onion-flavored sweetness. The fingerling potatoes were cooked well, but also lacking flavor and needed a significant amount of salt. The Ruffino Pinot Grigio was excellent. Full from the bread and steak, we skipped dessert. The service was excellent. The restaurant has beautiful columns with grand arches; however, the high ceilings do not make for an intimate setting. The price was rather high for the meal, but not unexpected given the location.

   Italian food at its best. Nice wine list , service top notch h. Romantic place and has a huge bar area. Highly recommend.

   Great experience for dining. Food served hot and tasty for sure. My husband loved his veal Milanese; the broken lasagna was delicious- with all distinct meat flavors not mixing with each other. The spaghetti bolognese special a ten as well. We will return for sure.

   Have eaten at Ballo multiple times with varying results-yesterday was absolutely spectacular. Service was great-food even better-an excellent experience. The only negative is their charge for bread which is not befitting a restaurant of this quality.

   Disappointed that the menu has changed so drastically. Many favorites are gone. Music was very loud and it was hard to have a conversation. Was like you were at a nightclub. Asked to have it turned down but didn't happen.

    Staff was exceptional-friendly, attentive but didn’t make us feel rushed. The food was delicious - especially the broken lasagna and the pork chop. The drinks were a generous pour. Lovely evening out all around.
