Great time at the Banyan Tree! Very good food. We are vegan and they had plenty of options. Our waiter, Nick was personable, friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. I loved the open air seating with a view of the ocean. There was Hawaiian music playing that was easy to talk over. I would recommend the Banyan Tree for their Alternative ha spirt and good food.

The value of our dining experience did not match the prices on the menu. The service was fine but was not outstanding. I ordered a steak medium rare and it came medium well. We waited over an hour for our main courses so it wasn't worth sending it back. Especially since our reservation was for 8 and they closed at 9. Staff was cleaning and closing up around us, which I understand they want to go home but at the same time, reservations shouldn't be offered that late then if it's going to feel like an imposition to be enjoying our meal. For a $500 bill for a table of 4, I would have expected more. Also the restaurant was not responsive about changing a reservation. The phone number went straight to voicemail and sending a message did not get me a response.

Not a false note in this beautiful indoor yet outdoors Kapalua restaurant of long standing. Cocktails and mocktails were perfectly blended and the food was outstanding. - from the fennel bursts salad to start to the chocolate cake at the end. See what the Josper Oven special is. Our pork chops were indeed special.

Food and ambiance were really good. View was really good and the property is amazing. Service could’ve been better.

This was our second visit to the Banyan Tree restaurant and this visit did not disappoint; My wife had the short rib and I had the Mahi Mahi. We had the chocolate cake for dessert. Everything was yummy
