BAO Fitzrovia is the second restaurant by Shing-Tat Chung, Wai-Ting Chung and Erchen Chang, following the success of their Netil Market stand and BAO Soho. The menu features “Xiao Chi” – small eats – and a selection of sharing dishes. The expanded drinks menu features cocktails, sakes, whiskies, wines and milkshakes.

Very very overpriced food for it's quality and serving size. You are paying for the ambience here but even then it's not worth it.

Poor food, ambience. The food quality & presentation very low. Will not visit again. Menu very complicated to understand and terrible choices. A big waste of time.

Absolutely! This was my favorite restaurant in a week of gluttony eating in London. We originally had dinner reservations but decided to stop in for lunch instead and had no trouble getting seats at the bar for a late lunch. I can't say enough good things about the whole experience from food to service. I particularly liked the classic bao and the pork belly bowl, but it was all excellent.

This is actually for the Soho branch as accidentally took a wrong turning. Lovely food, basic setting, the bill mounts up by the end. Overall I thought it was a decent lunch experience.

The set lunch menu is the perfect way to explore Bao, you get to try 3 different things for incredible value. Service is fast and food is delicious! The beef Bao was incredible!

They forgot about half of our food, as we were waiting for a while we asked for it again and they told us they forgot and that the kitchen was closed so they could not make it. It was 10pm, they made us leave without eating. Terrible experience, the baos we were able to have were ok but not very good, they were cold. We had to leave and look somewhere else to eat. It was terribly managed. Do not recommend.

Food is always great in BAO and we had a lovely time. Main shout out this time to our waiter who was wonderful - very knowledgeable about the menu and couldn't be more helpful!

Interesting and tasteful food but very small portions. Lots of pork on the menu so maybe not the best choice if you don’t eat pork.
