Bar des Prés Mayfair is chef Cyril Lignac's first international opening; an evolved version of his original restaurant in the Saint-Germain neighbourhood restaurant in Paris.

Behind the deep blue facade, a chic, charming space spread across two floors. The restaurant boasts a cosy ambience, take a seat within the velvet booths, or at the Italian Giallo Real marble counter, where our expert Bar team combine Parisian signatures with London favourites.

Taking inspiration from the esteemed restaurant in Paris; Chef Cyril Lignac’s menu has seasonality at its core, effortlessly combining French know-how with modern Japanese individuality and techniques.

Nestled below the restaurant, the Lounge provides a vibrant space for pre or post-dinner gatherings and casual suppers, with a live DJ performing every Thursday – Saturday from 6pm.

Very disappointed. Been there quite a few times and always had a good experience. This time however, the service level was disgraceful… they brought the bill and put the card machine in front of us without giving us the time to check the bill, and once we paid they they asked us leave as early as possible, pretending that someone had booked our table. It was still pretty early in the evening, there were still quite a few tables available, and no one showed up for our table… Will never come back.

Bar des Prés in Mayfair offers a unique mix of French and Japanese flavors. The flamed salmon roll is delicious, with a great balance of textures and taste. The millefeuille is a must try - light, flaky, and perfectly creamy. I like to order it with less praline. The chic ambiance makes it a great spot for a special night out.

When I book a table I expect to have a table and not the bar - they barely apologized … we walked out

The waitress overheard it was my friends birthday and had a dessert on the house sent over. Very thoughtful and above and beyond. The food was amazing as usual.

Been there few times and really enjoyed. This time however, we were seated downstairs, the service was terrible. Food good as always but the service level was disgraceful. We were waiting forever for the waiters to serve us

Just experienced a despicable treatment of racism from the staff at bar des pres. I had made a booking from the app for a table at 7pm, only to be escorted to a sushi counter, despite the restaurant being empty. After complaint, we were ushered to a table at the back of the restaurant, very much hidden from everyone else. After a while, another Arab group were seated next to us, which only confirmed that this was a deliberate act of discrimination. This is super disappointing albeit suprising given that I am a frequent customer. Not sure if there has been a change of management, but if there is and this continues, Arabs should spend their money elsewhere.
