Enjoy an intimate dining experience at Bar Isabel - a cozy restaurant nestled between Toronto's little Italy and little Portugal, where creative Spanish-inspired small plate dishes are served alongside cocktails and an extensive Iberian focused wine list. The restaurant's elegant interior boasts an intriguing blend of soft lighting, curved walls and a beautiful mosaic tile floor.
Managed under the guidance of Maitre d' and Partner Alessandro Pietropaolo, Bar Isabel's menu includes a diverse mix of pintxos, conservas, seafood and meat dishes. Diners rave about the grilled octopus, the bone marrow and the ceviche. For dessert, the Basque cake and sherry cream is a must-try. Bar Isabel is open 5-11pm Sunday through Friday, and 12-11pm Saturday. Accolades include listings in the Michelin Guide, Canada's top 100, and 2013 awarded the best new restaurant in Canada by Enroute Magazine. Bar Isabel accepts reservations for parties of up to 8 guests.

    Join Bar Isabel for New Year's Eve 2024! We will be offering our regular a la carte menu, as well as features from our library of dishes and wine cellar. Or put yourselves in our hands and try our tasting menu! Please note all of our reservation times are 2 hour time slots, and we are a very small room, so we will not be able to accommodate longer seating times. If you would like to stay for the midnight countdown, please book a time slot after 10pm or later. We are looking forward to celebrating with you again!

    Such a wonderful dinner tonight. Our server was knowledgable about both wine and food. Recommendations were great and the pace of the food coming out was perfect!

    Once every few months, we gather with some friends of ours and splurge on a tasting menu, and Bar Isabel one was one of the best. So many unique dishes and it truly transports one to Spain. Highly recommend!

    Amazing Spanish restaurant with tasty food. Nice atmosphere and great service. Great wine selection. We were transported in Spain ! The octopus was fantastic ans their jamón Iberico is just melting in the mouth. FABULOUS !!

    Very enjoyable dinner. We did the tasting menu as it was our first time. Highly recommend. Every item brought out was amazing. Servers were attentive and knowledgeable. Only very slight downside is it can be noisy and it certainly is tight between tables, but that is also what creates the great vibe there too.
