   Our server Allison (I think that was her name) was great! Super attentive and helpful! The short rib appetizer was okay…not much short rib at all so that was kind of a let down but they were super tasty. The grilled country bread with ricotta was okay..definitely needed some extra salt and pepper but that’s a personal preference. I got the halibut with mushroom risotto, that was very good! Halibut was cooked perfectly! The rest of my party got the pesto with chicken and chicken limone and they both loved their dishes. Great ambiance! Volume level was moderate to high but not loud enough to where you couldn’t hear the people at your table. Will definitely be back!

   We went to Bar Italia for a special event and the food was amazing our waitress exceptional!

   Very nice spot, ambience is very nice, Italian vibe Appetizers very good, pizza pretty decent too. Service very friendly and nice. My main dish Chicken parm (maybe bad selection but not really good). Pasta pretty good. Overall a great experience for the $$

   Bar Italia in Lakewood is a gem! Great food, excellent wine and awesome neighborhood vibe. Consistently delicious!

   Amazing food. We had the Halibut, Veal Marsala, and Pesto, along with a chopped salad and Tiramisu and Key Lime Pie. Everything was absolutely excellent. Our server was very attentive and helpful as well. My only wish is that we could have had a conversation without screaming. I don't know why so many restaurants think it improves the ambiance for people to not be able to converse with their dining companions. Go for the food. Just plan on screaming at your friends.

   Shockingly, our experience last night was a complete let down. We had a reservation at 8:45 PM, we didn’t get seated until 9:18 PM. All the while there was a 9:00 PM reservation that somehow got sat before us. In addition, my husband ordered the chicken Parmesan and the parts and sauce was extremely smoked - it was foul. However, we were famished since we didn’t eat until after 10:00 PM. I ordered the shrimp diablo entree and couldn’t make it home back to West Park without experiencing stomach issues.

   We had a 7:45 reservation. We were not seated until 8:15 which was frustrating. Don’t overbook reservations and if there is a wait, do the right thing and buy customers them a drink or dessert on the house. Due to the wait, we had to rush our dinner and were late for our other plans that evening. Great restaurant, great service and wonderful food but overbooking reservations is a problem!

    Our waitress was attentive and very friendly. She let us know a few things that the kitchen ran out of and politely comped our table dessert to make up for a few kitchen issues. The food all came out together and we were all satisfied with each dish and its presentation.
