   They could use a little more explanation for meals. We weren’t told that bread came with each meal so we ordered some. Then we asked if they had a small side salad with the meal and were told no. Our waitress told us that the Caesar salad was big enough to split but when we asked to split one there would be an extra charge. 3 meals were very good but my brother in laws was pretty bad. The pasta came in a ball stuck together. We were compt his meal but I would have thought one of the managers would have come and asked what the problem was. We probably won’t be back.

   The Restaurant was very nice. The Service and Food was Outstanding. What I did NOT appreciate was having a Dog at the Table next to us. This dog was NOT an emotional support pet. When did it become ok to bring your pet to a restaurant?? Why do people feel entitled to bring a pet to a restaurant?? I know that there are restaurants that cater to pets but I did not expect Bar Italia to be one of them. I will likely NOT return to this restaurant which is too bad. I really liked the place.

   We were greeted immediately and warmly as if we were actually welcome. Bryce was our server. We could tell he is learning but he did a very good job! We LOVE the decor and ambiance. Very inviting. Great bar - nicer than most in the area. We were there for lunch and the food was really good - best bolognese around here and there were no leftovers of the mushroom pizza! We sat inside but can’t wait to go back and give the patio a visit - cozy and inviting…

   A fun place! Good food at a reasonable price! Big restaurant , big bar and great service. I had a pizza and my husband had lasagna and we started with fried zucchini. We will definitely go back- a great addition to Lakewood ranch.

   We visited on a Wednesday for $8 martini. We ordered items that we had ordered previously, burrata salad, fig and pig pizza and the bread but this time with whipped ricotta. Everything was delicious and we have leftovers. The martini was spot on as well. We asked to be seated in the rear as it is a much quieter area which made for a vey pleasant dinner. Our server Marissa was delightful. We will be back!

   Delicious appetizer and cocktails followed by wonderful entrees. We’ll definitely be back! It was a bit loud, but everything else was fabulous.

   Very satisfied-service was a bit slow, place was busy-but waitress was amazing & very sweet-seemed short handed, maybe. Will definitely be back Beautiful restaurant-lovely outdoor area!!

   Favorite new restaurant. Jason is the best. Servers Bryce, Joel and Kate have all been excellent. They know their dishes and can make knowledgeable recommendations. The kitchen is reliably superb. Atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming.

   Nice place. First of all the consensus of our party of four was that the food was average. Two of us had the clams and spaghetti not a lot of taste to it. My wife had zucchini noodles with mushroom and tomato sauce. She said it was pretty watery. And another of us had the Bucatini with Bolognese of what she said was average. We did have appetizers and they brought the entrées out with the appetizers. My wife ordered an additional glass of wine, which didn’t come then 10 minutes later she ordered it again. The waiter was honest when he told us that the zucchini fries were soggy so we did not order those. In my opinion, there are many more better Italian restaurants in the area to go to. However, I do recommend you give it a try and see what you think because I never wanna write a negative review that affects the restaurant. This is an honest review that I’ve written.
