Bar Lino ristorante brings familial recipes from Itri, Italy to Johnston, RI. Restauranteurs, Joe and Esther DeQuattro, originally opened Pane e Vino Providence, Massimo Providence, Massimo Legacy Place, and Crow's Nest in Warwick.
Bar Lino is the perfect local restaurant serving Italian classics while featuring live entertainment, Espresso Martini Monday's, Happy Hour at the Bar from 4PM-6PM Monday-Friday and other great specials.
Signature dishes include Pappardelle alla Bolognese, the Point Judith Calamari en Padella, and the Bucatini al' Amatriciana.

Tables crowded, mixed seating-high tops mixed with booths, bar seating and tables/chairs.....noise level very high..hard to talk to spouse. Veal piccata sauce all under the sides-potatoes and green beans, despite the nice seasoning on the green beans and potatoes-ruined by the piccatta sauce. Two pieces of veal-one thin, one thick...the thick one was tough. Split the caesar salad with spouse-so excited they had anchovies-but, alas, three tiny anchovies on a huge salad. Waiter very professional/classy and attentive. Restaurant was so cold, I had to wear my coat throughout my meal.

It was my first time and I went with a friend for lunch. I can’t wait to return with my husband as it was wonderful and a beautiful decor!

Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. We all enjoyed our sangria and the calamari. Pizzas were good. The atmosphere is great, it’s a nice place to meet up with friends. Noise level was fine for everyone at the table to hear the conversation.

It was great service and food! The restaurant was chilly on both visits but otherwise excellent!

My family & I had a nice dinner here last weekend. Joan was an awesome server throughout our entire dinner. He was so kind & patient with us & gave some good recommendations. All of the drinks tried off of the cocktail menu were great. The cardinale pizza and the carbonara were amazing. The calamari was good, but just a very small portion, & we could have done without the shrimp cocktail & the chicken saltimbocca as they were just OK.

We had the lasagna (excellent and filling; good value) and chicken piccata. The potatoes were excellent. The green beans were a little oversalted. The focaccia bread was excellent.

Envy was a fantastic server and made sure we were taken care of with whatever we needed. Hopefully he is who we get the next time we go back.

Service was a little slow but the server was nice. I ordered the chicken Piscataway without garlic. My order came swiftly but with garlic. They took the meal back and replaced it in a timely manner. My wife ordered the rigatoni in a pink vodka sauce. It was a little spicy and very good. I would go back.

First time there and it was very good. Calamari, eggplant parmesan and penne pino vodka with chicken was great. Looking forward to trying their pizza next tine.
