The Hotel Fauchere features three dining venues. Our elegantly-appointed Delmonico Room with its vintage Hudson River School paintings, piano and light-filled sunroom, our Bar Louis, with cozy booths, a contemporary vibe and the famous gigantic photograph of Andy Warhol and John Lennon behind the bar and our heated front porch with awnings and wind break curtains . Please note venue preference, if you have one, and we will accommodate as we are able (not all venues are open at all times). The restaurant pays homage to our founder, Louis Fauchere, who began working as a master chef at Delmonico's in New York City in 1848. He opened the Fauchere in 1852 and it was run by his descendants for 124 years. We look forward to welcoming you.

Elevate your evening with our enhanced heating for optimum coziness and bluetooth sound. - Deposit is nonrefundable for cancellations within 48 hours of your reservation - Each Igloo dining experience serves up to 6 people and is only $300 plus drinks, tax and gratuity. Maximum of 8 guests - 20% gratuity will be applied to final bill - Igloos are heated but can still be chilly, dress accordingly. Cancellation of service possible when weather expected to dip below 20F. Call to confirm. NOT AVAILABLE FEBRUARY 14 & 15.

Nice enough place, service was okay. Food was way overpriced. We had the 3 course Valentines dinner and it was definitely not worth the $75 per person price. Took them an hour to give us our main course, Food portions were too small and not cooked properly. Filet mignon was dry and lobster was undercooked. Dessert looked like it was bought from the frozen aisle.

This was the most recent of many frustrating and disappointing dining experiences at this place. We had to wait for 35 minutes for our drinks. My martini came out with a rancid taste. The diners at the next table who were seated at the same time also waited as long as us, only be to be told the selection of beer they ordered was not available - 35 minutes to ask him to selective another! I ordered the lobster bisque after being assured it would come out hot. I had cold soup at my last visit. Guess what, yes, the soup came out cold. My wife and I both ordered filet mignon cooked MEDIUM. It came out well done. At least it was warm. Throughout the meal we could hear couple around us complaining about the slow service, cold soup, soup served without a spoon. When desert came out, the flourless chocolate cake was so hard we could not cut into it with our forks. Perhaps it was frozen, or maybe stale. We asked for our check and were happy to get out there.

Bar Louis was exceptional! The ambiance was perfect. Quiet but not dull. It was classic! Food was outstanding and the prices were surprisingly better than anticipated. Can’t wait to go back again!

So much fun to do! Come hungry. Lots of food. Great for parties and just for a good night. Reasonably priced too.

We had a lovely dinner at the Hotel Fauchere! The Delmonico room was quiet and cozy, the overall noise was low. Nice setting for an enjoyable evening. Our food arrived and mine was perfect but my husband’s was very tasty but it was barely warm. They forgot the bread and could not provide us with herbal tea. Overall, we would clearly go again as the food was so tasty and the setting perfect. The service just missed the mark a little.

I needed a last minute Christmas Eve reservation as my son surprised me from out of town and I had nothing planned. Food was terrible. Lukewarm at best. Limited menu which I definitely understand on a holiday, but the main choice was burger or vegetarian burger. All 3 of us ordered burger medium well - 2 of them were not cooked at all (blood on plate) and had to go back for another 15 minutes. They tasted no better than a diner burger and for the price we paid for the meal it was extremely disappointing. We were not there at "peak" time so that wasn't an excuse - there were literally 2 other tables occupied when we arrived. The only positive thing was the waitress. She was amazing and sweet and absolutely horrified when she saw the burgers and couldn't apologize enough. If I could have given the entire cost of the bill directly to her I would have.
