BarCa is defined as a fine dining restaurant: signature cuisine, served informally in a sophisticated environment. It aims to be an innovative space, not only with regard to the approaches it proposes, but also by simplifying and breaking some basic rules of the service, which is rigorous but relaxed.

For Luis Bettencourt, and Rosa Bettencourt there is only good cuisine and bad cuisine. Yours defines it as a cuisine of flavor: refined taste, perfect technique and excellent product. The basis of its gastronomic philosophy lies in its influences and references: travel around the world, passion for Africa, knowledge of traditional Portuguese cuisine, life in Portugal!

                                                            Great meal and a fabulous wine selection. The wine is climate controlled, so you always get it at the right temperature.

                                                            Food was excellent and atmosphere was great. The things that I would say needs to be fixed is they didn’t have enough staff on, they only had one waitress tending to all patrons. Also they asked if we wanted bread and butter and also cheese but never mentioned that there was a additional charge for those items especially when they made it seem as it were complimentary and never stated there would be a charge for it.

                                                            The restaurant was closed for vacation until Jan 30. So we were allowed to make a reservation even though the restaurant was closed. Had to find another place at the last minute. Ruined the evening for the entire party. Will never return to this place.

                                                            This is a quaint place for Portuguese dining. The tables were beautifully set with white tablecloths. I ordered the Whiskey & Espresso Bife. The flavors were delicious. The service was very nice. The serving staff were very kind & attentive. Absolutely loved it here.

                                                            Our first time this restaurant by name and was formerly the Cinderella restaurant. The food was good and the service was good. The noise was loud only because of a very loud talking man who openly was discussing his superior white privileged. It was never addressed by the staff. Overall, a nice small quaint restaurant and well decorated with a good menu.

                                                            It was a busy night! Loved the food! I got the lamb, it was cooked perfectly to my liking. My fiancé got the tomahawk steak. We will be back!

                                                            This was our second time at BarCa, and both experiences were wonderful. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The menu includes both traditional Portuguese dishes and recipes that are more typical of American fine dining establishments (rack of lamb, etc.). All are well prepared and flavorful. The owner is very kind and attentive. It is our new favorite restaurant in Fall River.
