Located four blocks from the malecon, here you will have the best view of the bay in downtown Puerto Vallarta.
The chef/owner, William Carballo, sees to it that every guest in his restaurant is happy, offering generously served dishes with fresh, high quality ingredients at reasonable prices. it is recommended to order for the entire table and share dishes family style.
With two or three tapas per person, you can enjoy an authentic culinary adventure.
They are always updating the menu and offer daily specials. Also enjoy delicious salads and scrumptious desserts such as the chocolate profiterols and homemade ice cream.

    Absolutely loved this place! Juan Gil was our server he was fantastic and the flamenco dancers and singers really made our night! The food and wine were equally good! I am from San Francisco and this place was just as good as any place there !

    Ths was our 2nd visit to Barcelona Tapas this trip to PV. We had a wonderful Valentines dinner here at the front end of our vacation. We enjoyed it so much we decided to return for our last night in PV. We requested to have Alfredo be our waiter because he was so attentive to us the 1st time and also recommended some excellent wines. He did not disappoint us the 2nd time around. He remembered our wine preferences and brought the bottle we had wanted to try the first trip, but they were out of. It was excellent. Food was excellent was well. We loved the pulpo, so tender and buttery. The waygu ribeye melted in our mouths. Paella was also delicious and they were very accommodating with preparing it to my request. We were thrilled they have maintained a high standard in service and food quality over the past few years that we’ve returned to PV, year after year!

    The first time back for quite some time. Very welcoming. We were given a table beside a group of very drunk people. We were able to move so all good In general the food was good but not outstanding. Service was okay until it came to paying. The server asked for a 15% tip which we agreed to. However he added a higher % on to the final payment. What? He argued that we had agreed to the higher amount. No. He said he would give it back in cash. Off the books? Anyway the experience was not great. After many years of coming to PV this is the only dishonest experience I’ve experienced and I would not have expected it to happen at an establishment with the tenure of Barcelona Tapas.

    Best tapas!! Everything is amazing!! Try the bacon wrapped dates, eggplant w 3 cheeses, beef & chicken skewers , potato ‘pie’, and garlic shrimp. And do t forget the sangria and yummy deserts.

    Always a treat coming back here. Such friendly service and incredible views. We shared several things and all were good. The fish, mixed vegetables, eggplant and mushrooms were all delicious.

    both food and service were excellent. We recommend going at sunset for a beautiful view overlooking the bay.
