    Such a shame. Great menu. However the food is terrible. Nothing like Mexican food if you’ve actually been to Mexico. Service was good from our Waitress, but the delivery of the food was random. Everything came at once after 5 mins So too much at once, except our kids food which took over 1 hour to come?! They gave us 10% off the bill for the delay, without us complaining, and the bill was still £250 for 6x of us. Honestly astonishing……

    We had high hopes, and really want this idea to succeed. We went early on a Sunday evening, a day after noticing the frontage for the first time. It was at the very end of the Bath Xmas market, which locals tend to avoid, it was very quiet, and staff levels were low, we sometimes struggled to get attention. The wait staff was very friendly, and genuinely tried to be helpful. The spicy margarita was terrific. But the food needs the same loving attention that the drinks menu seems to have had. The duck quesadilla lacked flavour, but could be such a hit with a bit more love. The fried chicken was very good and the short rib taco was popular. The prawn taco needed more freshness. There was a surprising lack of fresh coriander to lift everything. The tortilla chips were ok, rather thick and not warm. the 6 salsas were ok but none stood out. The "key lime pie" is actually a slightly lime-flavoured set cheesecake that doesn't work. The raspberry and tequila sorbet, however, was probably the highlight of the meal. There is real potential here, but it is falling flat at the moment. I really hope you can raise the game!

    Great food and cocktails. Corn and pineapple were the best dishes. Meat dishes were very oily!! Needed more napkins. Service fantastic. Didn’t enjoy the compost flies!

    Overpromised and under delivered We had high expectations. The menu had us salivating, but unfortunately the food itself was a poor reflection of the description on the menu. The beautiful flavours described just didn’t come out in the food itself. Plus the hot food was not overly warm. And I’m a person who likes hot food to be hot. It was a shame as the staff were friendly. But neither my friend nor I have any inclination to return

    Great atmosphere food and service…how small plates and tacos should be served…a continuous timely flow and no massive gaps between.

    Food fresh and delicious. Service grumpy, stressed out and inattentive. Also, one of those places where they don't attempt to make the meal 'one event' and little dishes come our when it's ready, which works ok is a small group and sharing but in our larger group (7) means that some people had finished all their food whilst others hadn't received any yet. Would not go back, felt 'processed' more than 'welcomed' as a customer.

    Average food No lobster in lobster taco just mushed up dark crab paste , yucky Cauliflower starter had flour around it when bitten into , no flavour Nachos needed more toppings and more cheese Chips were good Waiter was really nice

    This new restaurant has a lovely ambience and the staff were friendly and attentive. However the food was very disappointing and poor value for the prices. The portion of pulled pork on the Nacho dish for example, you could hardly see and that was supposed to be between two people.
